I don't. For those who haven't watched much Gagne, he's really fallen off a la Owen Nolan. Still has the shot but can't skate a lick anymore.

TSN said he's talking to LA but then the Richards thing over shadowed that whole discussion.

Gagne will not only score and help us out offensively but he is actually really good on the PK from what I saw in Philly and in Tampa he still helped out on the PK. We don't have the money to pull him though. If LA doesn't sign Richards i'm assuming they get Gagne for 4 mil+

bergenheim's good but I'd really like to see that line get bigger/tougher.

3rd line guys still available that I like(in no particular order):
Anthony stewart- Big body, young(first contract above 1m), 14 goals with atlanta last season

Handzus- would be a big upgrade from the small wellwood. Great on the pk and can score occasionally/go up to higher lines in case of injuries. Hard worker plain and simple. (not sure about price on this guy though)

Grier- Ok he's over the hump, injury issues are abound, and he doesn't score that often, but who else misses him on the pk? and his work ethic... I know I do.

Brad Winchester- Big, scores occasionally, fights. Not the pker handzus or grier are though.

Ethan moreau- Another big guy, decent on the pk, had a bad year last year due to injuries so he could come cheaply.

Get Miettinen. Nemo needs another Finnish buddy if Niity gets traded.
Also get Kovalev. We need more skilled, heartless floaters.

Just came back from an appointment and have seen that we signed Vandermeer. Okay so, $1 mil. we could have used to try and sign White back and still have been well under cap space. Money could have been better spent for sure. Thank goodness it isn't a Huskins/type multi year deal.

What's wrong with being under the cap? It gives you more flexibility later on if needed. I'd rather the sharks be under the cap than give out crazy contracts just for fun. Having White back would be nice but our top 4 d-men are set and Vandemeer fits the skill set of a bottom pairing better. now the sharks still have cap space to spend 3-4 mill on a good forward if they can get one.
