Considering that Rask is coming off knee surgery and TT has more wear and tear on him than he's ever had, I appreciate the determination to bring in a solid young third goaltender.

You were so excited you couldn't spell. One way? Two way?

I like it, like his game. Market for Rask might be gone with Colorado overpaying for Varlamov but that doesn't necessarily mean anyone's gone.

I like it to he is only 25 years old and even though he played limited time with the Wild he looks like a good pick up.

Thought he was KHL bound for sure.

Good to have. Gives Providence a chance to win and keeps some sort of depth at G in the org.

Hopefully every signing made today (Khudobin, Whitfield, Pouliot) was made for Providence. If that's the case, then I have no issues. If one of those signings is going to be in the NHL full-time, even as a 13th F, I'm still bull****.

Awesome, he seems like a really good lockerroom guy and the fact that he decided to come back here instead of being a starter in the KHL is a good sign. Also, he's a good young goalie with tons of potential.

I really like this signing. Thought it was reported that Khudobin was gone for sure.

Well, whatever. This is smart. I like it. Thanks for sticking with us, Anton!

So awesome. This takes some of the sting away from losing Ryder at the rate he signed for

This I like. Depth for our system and a goalie who is somewhat familiar with our program.

Yes! This made me in a better mood after the other signing. Once Timmy's gone, we still possibly have two good players in Tuukka and Anton.
Great signing

Two way for this year, one way for next year. The way I interpret that is that PC expects Timmy to finish and Tuukka to take the reins.

... or that he wants a young tender with some skills in reserve in case Rask signs an offer sheet. Could turn either way, but either way it's a good path to NHL playing time for Khudobin.

That's also a possibilty

I've heard good things about this kid. Does he have the potential to be a starter someday?

Nice! Wonder what made him change his mind... certainly hope it's not a sign that Tuukka is restless and/or badly injured.

Great move. It was very smart to bring him along for the Cup ride. He's going to help out Providence big time next year and it's good he's there in case Timmy or Tukkaa goes down.

I hate the Pouliot move...

But I LOVE this one.

Some great work from Chiarelli to get Khudobin to change his mind and stick with us. And not just for the one season either. Fantastic.

Perhaps the situation on his prospective KHL team wasn't to his liking. It's not the most stable league in the world.

Very happy about this signing also because Khudobin was reportedly a great help to and mentor for Alexandrov. I'm sure Yury is happy he's coming back.

I love that mid-season, the KHL just decides they're going to take a MAJOR chunk of every player's salary. Even better, when they decide to take a major chunk of just SOME players' salaries.

Harry was 30 years early and a continent away from his true calling.
