I'm okay with this. Sanford has shown potential. Thomas was a late bloomer too who knocked around for a while.

Not sure how he is now and it seems like this is a AHL bound goalie/insurance if the other guy struggles or one of them gets hurt. I remember wanting him instead of Garon when both became a UFA years ago. We took garon and Sanford went to the Canucks.

I do LOVE this signing. I have watched him play since he first turned pro in Worcester, he was good then and is so much better now. Was very impressed with him this past season when I did get to see him play and when I was at the AHL All-star game.

He is also a capable back-up to Mason if Dex doesn't perform well enough (hopefully he does of course).

I am impressed with the signings to help Springfield so far.
