I'd like Hannan as a Top-4 or Gagné as a Top-6.

But, we should probably just close this thread down anyway because Florida is just going to sign everyone.
But O'Brien could alternate well with Emelin until Emelin is ready. Also O'Brien improved a lot in Nashville.

I'd take Flash at $4.5 in a heartbeat.

Also, Theodore's contract is great.

25$ tickets.

You can barely park your car for that at the Bell Center.

I'd prefer Weber. I just Weber has all the tools and this is the year he finally puts them all together at the right time.

I guess I didnt see enough of him in Nashville to make a judgement. I used to be high on O'Brien (thought he was much better than Komisarek) and then he went to Vancouver and I cried after watching him.

Agreed. Flash had inflated stats and got paid for them.

On Richards...

TSNBobMcKenzie Bob McKenzie
I suspect NYR favorite to win out, but I would guess CGY is ahead of TOR or LA or other suitors at this point. Will find out soon enough.

Yeah, his 21 points in 22 games for Colorado was terrible.

Factor in the $1M or so overpayment that just about everyone got today and yeah, I'd take him in a heartbeat.

Plus, he has bizarre clotting in his leg, or something to that extent. Twice, it's taken him out for extended periods of time.

Seriously? Would you have given Pouliot 4.5m after the hot streak he had with us when we got him? Players going on a hot run after they get traded is nothing new. To expect that level of production consistently is just ridiculous.

Oh and he has that bloodclot thing that has the potential to be career-threatening. So there's that.

I just read the interviews with Cole and Budaj and both have been Montreal fans.Budaj since he was 6 years old and feels that the Habs will win it all within a few years.Gotta love players that love the team like that, talk about passion.

But I think management is looking at Emelin or even Spacek to be that man.
I know Spacek gets a lot of hate about his shooting efficiency, missing the net a lot, but his shooting percentage went down hard since joining us. He had two worst career years back to back as far as shooting % goes. If Markov is setting him up, I'm sure his numbers can go back up.
As for Emelin, he scored 11goals 26pts in 52GP last year, so I'm sure he's got a nice shot too.
So, I really don't see the point in signing McCabe at this point.

Kaberle and McCabe are not in the same league, at all. Kaby gets a lot of hate because of his play after being traded. Some of it is warranted, but he hasn't been as bad as most say. But I view this as a good thing. I think a team might get away with signing him at a relatively cheap price. For the Dman that resemble Markov the most, I'd certainly see it as a great move.

Outside of money, TO is a terrible fit for Richards.

Tanguay-Iginla?
Callahan-Gaborik?

or

Kadri/Lopul???-Kessel

He gets better linemates in CGY or NYR and better overall team without a question.

It would be funny to see him go to Calgary. Would be nice to see Rangers sit there with no legit number 1 center.

Where did I say anything about giving Pouliot that much money? Flash is a fun player to watch and he's good, I think. With the cap going up and the overpayments today, his contract is more than fair.

And the bloodclot thing has been stated by numerous doctors that there is absolutely nothing to worry about if he takes his meds.

Anyway, doesn't matter, he's not going to be here anyway.

Sign Richards, send Gomez to TO, hang up on the Leafs board eating pop-corn and reading.
