replaces Boulton. I would rather have Boulton because he has proven chemistry with Slater/Thorburn but still not a bad deal

Another scrub. He was completely invisible during the Canucks' playoff run. I don't remember him delivering a single decent bodycheck. Way to go Chevy!

Interesting. Glad to see there's some life up there(was worried the cold had frozen Chevy's brain ).

I'll always remember him as that guy who missed the wide open net in game 5 of the Stanley Cup Finals. I laughed at that for about 5 minutes straight.

You can merge the other one with this. Decent salary, will see how it pans out.

Hmm. He was kind of useless in the playoffs last year for the Canucks. Hope he picks his game up with us.

I was raging at my tv nonstop after that, even thought it was Glass I still couldn't believe it. Would have been ever worse if we lost that game.

Dunno, I think this is a good signing for you guys. Solid twelfth forward, can fight, can play, can kill penalties.

Great, character too. Plays a mean game of charity scrabble. edit: "Tanner Glass is 2 days away from not being employed by the #Canucks, & he's doing a public signing of #DearVancouver shirts. Quality dude."

He was a decent prototypical fourth liner in his time in Vancouver. Has a limitless motor and will go through a brick wall for his team but is an absolute blackhole of suck in the offensive zone. I respect Glass' game but he really can't do much beyond offer some grit, hustle and a strong forecheck.

How did AV sit and watch as Gillis let Glass get away? Explain this Nucks' fans.

HAH! That's awesome.

Glass is a warm body, nothing more. Doesn't really generate much energy, is unable to do much with the puck, but can skate ok and throws a lot of hits. The hits don't do anything mind you, but he does throw them.

Was serviceable enough as a 13th forward for us in regular season but turned out two putrid playoffs in a row for us.

Oh god no. Being a former fan of the Canucks I know exactly what we're getting. I will never forget that epic whiff on an empty net in the playoffs.

At least it's for one year.

He was cuddling with Aaron Rome at the time.

good guy but infuriating player.

You will wonder if he even was taught how to body check when he was younger, because that's the only thing he knows how to do... unfortunately HE NEVER DOES IT!

Ehh, not thrilled about the pick-up. He doesn't really stick-out for a 4th liner, resigning Boulton would make much more sense. But I'm guessing this probably spells Boulton's run with the Thrash/Jets?

Who said I bailed on them? I still read updates on them every day. If you didn't know, Winnipeg is getting an NHL team as well. Just thought you should know that

Well, this should turn out just fine then. Everybody says we won't be in the playoffs this year.
