My apologies, I can't read minds

Just because you live in Manitoba doesn't mean you have to change your loyalties

I have a couple buddies who were born and bread in winnipeg and are Canuck fans for life.

I hope this "familiarity" trend of players that have played here or were born here doesn't continue. If you're doing that then go out and get Keith and Sharp. I'm not saying management is doing anything bad but I just hope they know there are other players out there that they can sign/trade for in the future.

I'm sure at some point in the season Cormier will be playing over him.

I'd be hardpressed to take Carcillo at all. Eager is more effective the Carcillo, and that's saying something.

No way. It seems that Glass is a good character-hard working guy, but at least it seems that he doesn't think you get points for taking dumb penalties.

750 k is worth every penny because he can fight bears.

You have polar bears in manitoba..

Hey.. also I havn't been out to these boards yet, but I just want to congratulate you guys on getting your well deserved team back. Great fans in the peg, and I can't wait to start our rivalry all over again.

Welcome back to the league brothers!

I don't like what kind of player Carcillo is. I'd rather have Tanner Glass and his awesome bear fighting and scrabble skills.

The one thing I can tell you about Glass is that he's got a good personality. I can't wait to hear some new stories.

Alright, alright. Fair enough.

I was just shocked at signing Glass when you could have kept Boulton around (come on, the guy had his first hat trick this year!) or even stonehands Stewart.

Great price for a 4th line player with character. Jets are taking it slow on a day where a few mid ranged players are getting paid like superstars.

He's a solid enough 12th-13th forward who works hard, throws his body around pretty well, and is good enough defensively that he can play on the PK a bit if needed. Terrible player in the offensive zone.

Tore abdominal muscles in March and then had an awful playoffs after rushing back.

I'm having a little trouble figuring this move out. Why would we let Stewart go and pick up Glass? Why would we not try to resign Boulton instead of Glass?

I really wish we knew what Chevy' plan is at this point. I have faith in the organization, but I'm starting to really wonder what's going on.

I don't know either except to say they must have some kind of plan. It is possible they are looking at players for two teams, The Jets and the Moose.

The majority of Moose players were under contract to Vancouver. Do they all go to the Wolves or are they talking to some of them about a position. I don't know but am just throwing that out there.

Yes, because the team has been in existence since June 21, therefore has been given sufficient time for the HFexperts to start second/third guessing everything that has occurred...brilliant. Here's a thought - let them actually touch the ice in two weeks before looking for the nearest bus to throw them under. Or just get on the bus and quietly leave town...either way asinine judgement after 2 weeks appears petty.

Go Oilers.

It goes the other way, too. Just cause they're "new" doesn't mean everything they've done can be written off as "oh let's just see their plan." They've made some questionable moves.

I can understand why a Thrasher fan (knows the team) would be wondering what is going on. Part of the fun of being a Jet fan is that you get to hate oiler fans.

It's like a puzzle but we don't get to see the picture on the box to see where these pieces fit just yet. I will make sense in time.

Hey brainiac, this team has actually been in existence since 1997. It didn't just start to exist on June 21. Did the other 29 teams decide to wait for their teams to "touch the ice" in order to figure out how to improve their teams? Here's a hint, no they didn't. Because they know what their teams needs are because guess what, they watched their teams play last year. Do you not think Chevy has done his homework on what this teams needs are?

Here's a thought, if you have a problem with Winnipeg fans discussing their team just like fans of 29 other teams are doing right now, take your own advice and take your attitude and get on the bus and leave town.

If you want to cheer for the Oilers, there's the door.

The fans here are no different than the fans for the other 29 teams. We want to discuss our roster, and at this point it's unclear to everyone what the direction is.

Not that I am aware of but it will be interesting to see if some of these selections end up on the farm team. Don't know the name of it yet but it won't be the Moose
