Dupont looked like crap with the Whale. Don't know much about this guy but can't see any risk involved.

Thuresson is a solid depth player. He's hardly gonna light the world on fire, but he'll give 100% a night and play very well defensively. I would guess he will start in the AHL or as a healthy scratch and fill in when someoe goes down with injuries. He should be a capable but not outstanding NHL player.

Will Dupont make the Preds roster?

Not likely. At best, he's a 4th liner.

Any Ranger fans remember when Dupont was supposed to be our future captain? LOL.

Thuresson seems to have some skill.

Fine by me. Dupont had no future here, and one can never have too many Swedes in the system.
Funny you say that, I hated Anders Eriksson the most out of Ranger players.

Seems like a Swedish version of Chad Kolarik.

So how does it work with his RFA status with the Nashville screw up?

Dupont was a disappointment. Big kid with a scoring touch who didn't wow me with either a pro. When drafted, I felt he was a good sleeper pick, but it never really materialized.

Of course not a strong prospect in terms likelyness to make it to the big show, but the kid is a decent player.

He had a strong WJCH a while. There is more to him then the stats show. I wouldn't compare him to Shoestring. He is smarter but doesn't possess the raw talent of shoe.
