I know there's a lot of anti-Pacquias especially on the internet but does anyone here actually have a case for Bradley winning?

It was written into their contracts that there would be an automatic rematch on November 10 in the case that Bradley won. Ergo, it makes sense that they've got the material ready to promote in the case that Bradley won. That's why Bradley's on the left side.

At least that fight was close, this fight was a beatdown. What a joke.

I suppose it could be argued that although Pac outlanded Bradley, he always waited till the last minute of each round to push the action. I myself wouldn't make that argument though, although the rounds definitely were competitive.

The fight was closer than many people are saying.
Pacman simply took to many minutes off, how can you award him round after round, if he doesn't even try til the final 60 seconds?

IMO the last 3 rounds clearly went to Bradley. bottom line is this, Manny was not in top shape and he was exhausted in the later rounds, when he shoulda slammed the door, instead he left it open.

that said I thought he had the edge, but not nearly as big as people think who simply gave him rounds for a couple late flurries

I will add this.
People will want to see Pac get his revenge in the next fight
don't think for one second this in any way diminishes his value

That's why the judges were bought, to ensure more money was made.

CompuBox is two people pushing buttons at ringside, HBO doesn't tell you that though. I've seen it with my own two eyes. Not accurate at all, there's no way of knowing how much Bradley was outlanded by. Bradley didn't look like he took a lot of power shots once the fight was over, but that said, there is no argument for Bradley winning, there just isn't one and the only thing that would have stopped scorecards like this was a knockout. In any case, the sport needed a high profile corruption case like this so it can be purged.

I dvr'd and watched it twice. If anything Manny was bored and almost appeared as though he felt sorry for Bradley and intentionally wanted to let him back into the fight so he could give the fans a less one-sided show. Almost every big exchange had Pacquiao landing cleaner, more powerful shots. After the fight Bradley says he couldn't feel Manny's power, when he was clearly rocked multiple times throughout the fight. This fight was not close, not even remotely. Yes you can say Pacquiao shouldn't have coasted for minutes at a time like he did but he knew he was landing more shots, almost at will and probably knew Bradley wasn't going to go down and wanted to pace himself for a full 12. He looked absolutely fine in this fight. I actually felt bad for Bradley because it was clear after round 4 he couldn't intimidate Pacquiao in the slightest, his spirit looked broken, legit.

What an absolute joke.

The only reason that match would happen is if Bradley was the champ though. There would be no rematch of Pac won tonight.

Yep. Done. **** a sport that's so obviously set up.

Bradley could have boxed twice the fight he did and still lost. He got completely crushed and won.

I don't understand why he wouldn't be, that's the biggest payday he'll ever get.

LOL. The two judges that had Bradley winning scored the 5th round for him.

Yes, Pacman left the door open but Bradley failed to do anything with it.
If Pacman didn't let up, I doubt he'd KO Bradley, but it would've been a mercyless and unentertaining beatdown.
Manny simply dictated and controlled everything about this fight.

Bottom line, Manny is past his prime. He's lost his killer instinct. God, I miss the pre-2011 Pac.

60 Pro fights and his style of fight take a toll on a 33-year old.

A lot of the time when there is a controversial decision like this you'll have a decent amount of the media and population trying to rationalize the outcome in some way. I don't see that this time around.

I'm pretty sure the only people who honestly think Bradley won were the two judges. That is, if they weren't bought off in the first place.

The sport of Boxing as a whole was on the brink of making inroads among the younger generation with Pacquiao vs Mayweather but that opportunity is gone. Even if the fight goes ahead after the probable rematch it's lost most of it's steam.

Should be a good fight tonight: Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. vs. Andy Lee.

I don't get the hype with Lee; he's not bad but I haven't seen anything special. I think Chavez Jr. outworks him, but I think it's gonna be an action-packed fight.

Sounds like Pacquaio is headed for another fight with Marquez and not Bradley.
