40 save shutout for Pickard for his first ever AHL shutout. Great game!

Pickard, Pock and Carey were the most impressive in my opinion.

Nice to see such a great game from Pickard after reading lots of disappointing opinions on him over the last few months.

I don't think they wanted a brawl, they just didn't want their guys to get jumped so they sent out deterents. I like the makeup of the Monsters. I'd really like to see Walker, Heard and Malone groomed to be our future checking line.

Paul Carey really impressed me, good smarts and tons of hustle.

He kept going after some Marlies skaters, so the refs just gave him 10 to get him out of the game.

Man am I ever excited to see what Mitch Heard could do one day in the NHL. Such a great fighter and team player. He'll be a key piece to our future playoff runs for sure.

Bunch of Thugs...seriously awesome PK today, mostly because of Pickard, but the team did a good job of jumping on loose pucks for the 3rd game in 3 days.

I think once he adjusts to the speed of the game, and puts on some more size we'll also see him start to put up some numbers (nothing major though). I really like what he can do, defensively he seemed really good, he can fight, and his faceoff ability is already pretty polished. Really glad we drafted him now.

Honestly I wasn't impressed by him and he did take a lot of penalties but it was good to see him stick up for his teammates.

Online streams.

They didn't work for the 1st period but we got to watch the 2nd and 3rd period.

He was okay, though. Had some nice checks, used his body well and played an okay game defensively. Much better than in game 1. (Couldn't watch the 2nd game.)

Lake Erie opening night player introductions.

I always have found these kind of videos interesting.

And BTW, If you want to find a perfect English pronunciation of Aittokallio go no further than 6.52 in the video.

Damn a 40 save shutout for Pickard, but damn.

Wish I saw the game, but had to leave during 1st intermission.
