They will be in the minors, the younger talents are cheaper plus overall more skilled haha. Basically what im trying to say is they suck and don't deserve a spot on this team at all.. and most likely won't get one

This signing of Mcginn will put us at 49 contracts. We need to sign Simmonds. that would max us out. Kalinski received a qualifying offer as well i don't remember hearing anything about him accepting it though?

We might have to make a move... maybe not major but something soon

They have Kyle Cuminskey as an RFA right now to play that 6th spot. I think Carle would make that defense better, but I don't think they are really sweating it out right now looking to upgrade.

I'd like Hannan too, but I don't think it would really be smart to trade Carle to get him, especially if he will have a similar or higher contract. If we could have them both, great. But I don't see the team dishing Carle out to make room for him.
True. I really would like to see gus and bart get a shot but if the flyers could get hannan and keep carle that would a sick d unit.

Well, we do need a goalie who isn't waiver eligible.

Blake Kessel

Blake Kessel, the other #Isles defecting draft pick, is weighing at least 4 offers from NHL clubs, including the Flyers.

Blake Kessel?

I was looking at hockeybuzz (that basically means to take it for what its worth) and it said the Flyers are interested in Blake Kessel, Phil's younger brother. A few questions I have are 1) What would it take to get him? Hasn't proven himself yet so probably not much. 2) Not a question, but it also said we're talking to Phoenix (possible 3-way deal, since Islanders want Yandle?) And finally 3) How cool would it be to have Phil Kessel up against his brother and Brayden Schenn up against his brother in the same game? Lol like I said, hockeybuzz so whatever, but I could possibly see a 3 way deal between us, Phoenix, and the Islanders because it said we're talking to both teams and the Islanders were rumored to be trying to get a sign and trade for Yandle. Any thoughts on what that trade could look like? I didn't realize he was a free agent, sorry about that

I just lumped it here because I figured he is. I can't find any info about his contract or status.

Yeah I'm kinda confused about his status. Is he like Blake Wheeler was when he got drafted by one team but signed later with a different team? (I think that was Wheeler but I'm not sure)

I just checked the Islanders forum and apparently, Snow didn't sign Kessel or Gregoire. They were saying he was being incompetent to the situation or something along those lines
