'11-12 Player Point Predictions

Saw this on the main board so I thought I'd see what everyone expects from each of the Sabres now that the lines are taking shape this year. Here's my attempt at a guess:
Vanek (40-40-80)-Roy (20-50-70)-Stafford (30-35-65)
Ennis (20-40-60)-Leino (15-40-55)-Pominville (20-45-65)
Gerbe (15-25-40)-Hecht (10-25-35)-Boyes (20-25-45)
McCormick (5-10-15)-Gaustad (12-18-30)-Kaleta (7-13-20)
Spare forwards- 10-20-30 total

Myers (15-35-50)-Regher (0-20-20)
Erhoff (15-30-45)-Leopold (5-20-25)
Sekera (5-20-25)-Weber (0-15-15)

Miller-35 wins
Enroth-12 wins

I predict you two are predicting too many goals. First post is about 3.3 and the other is about 3.9 goals per game. I guess it doesn't hurt to be hopeful...

Realistically, not all of those players will play 82 games. If they did, that's my projection

I'll play your game

Vanek (38-32-70); Leino (12-51-63); Stafford (26-25-51)
Ennis (22-42-64); Roy (26-41-67); Pominville (22-36-58)
Gerbe (21-18-36); Hecht (12-20-32); Boyes (20-30-50)
McCormick (5-6-11); Gaustad (5-15-20); Kaleta (4-8-12)
Spare (5-7-12)

Myers (15-27-42); Regehr (2-14-16)
Ehrhoff (12-30-42); Leopold (8-12-20)
Sekera (6-14-20); Weber (2-10-12)

If our guys can produce at a pace close go this, we're going to win more a lot more than 44 games

I think we could actually win 50 games this season, but at those paces we could peel off 52 or 53.

Ron Barr"s prediction looks the best so far except for one thing, Pominville will not play 70+ games next season in fact I bet he wont even play 50+ ..

Uhh.... what?

Poms is supposed to be ready by the 2nd or 3rd week of the season at the latest (if his recovery stays on track). If you're suggesting he's injury-prone or something, I don't know what you're talking about, since he played 82 games four years in a row and 73 last season.

I'm not sure about everyone else, but I'm predicting high-40s or low-50s in goals for Vanek. If he stays healthy, I think he really blows the place up this year.

He is #7 on the depth chart as of now so unless they trade Sekera I cant see him playing more then 30-35 games.

I have heard the opposite, may not be ready by the 2nd or 3rd month of the season.. BTW Never ever have I suggested that he is injury-prone, although after last season that may change what with the concussion and cut.. Seriously this guy had a rough go at it in 2010-2011 ..

Seems like I'm the only one who would be very disappointed if Ennis only got 50-55 points.

If he doesn't jump into the 60's, I'd say he isn't progressing at the rate we need him to.

Depends. 55-60 pts would be pretty good if he isn't on the 1st PP unit, which I think will get an inordinate amount of the man-advantage time given the definite presence of Vanek and Ehrhoff, as well as the likely presence of some combination of Roy, Gragnani, Stafford, Pominville, Myers, and Leino.

Given that he's only 21, I'd be pretty happy even with a number in the high 50's.
