Seriously, who voted for someone besides Bruno? I don't see how you can justify that answer and be serious about it....

Bruno. Even if you put Miettinen and Kobasew together, it's still Bruno.

In a certain situation, any one of the 3 could really be the most effective hockey player. But Brunette had chemistry with Koivu on a goal-starved team, so that made him by far the best value to the Wild last season.

The Brunette of this past season was frankly quite crummy. On a team with much more depth than the Wild have/had, there really shouldn't be much of a reason as to why he should see much more than specialty time. I think he's about done at this point and am surprised he found a new team as quickly as he did.

With that said, Kobasew just didn't work out for the team. And while Mittens does some nice things in his overall game, it wasn't good enough to overcome his faults playing the minutes he did; nor did he make the impact Bruno did alongside Koivu.

All in all, it's like deciding between meh, eh, and yuck.

Looking at the names...I doubt they've seen any of them even play.

I voted for Mittens.

He could and did play in every game situation. Bruno could not. (too slow for PK)

I LOVE Bruno, but using last year's play, and the three players listed in this poll, Mittens wins.

I voted for Mittens, and I watched nearly every televised Wild game last season.

Looking at the overall value to the Wild last season, I see no way anyone can argue.

One thing I failed to mention ..... The fact that I voted for Mittens is more an indictment to how far Bruno's skills have fallen off. (and how invisable Chuck was)

However everyone is so ANTI-Mittens, that they won't even allow themselves to honestly answer this question.

The reality is that all three of the players listed on this poll are nothing more than 3rd liners on a decent team. But everyone bags on Mittens because he played on the 1st line, and wasn't a superstar. How is that his fault? When he was signed to the Wild, it was as a 2nd/3rd line player. But if the coach puts you on the first line, then you play there.

Right, thats why Bruno signed with Chicago on day one and Kobasew signed with Colorado right away.

Meanwhile Mittens is entertaining offers from the KHL.

I'm sure theres no connection, right?

Mittens couldn't hit the broad side of a barn with a medieval cannon from 10 paces away and everyone knows it. He couldn't hit water if he fell out of a boat in the middle of the ocean. He got set up for so many empty netters and missed pretty much all of them. The guy has the accuracy of a 16th century musket in a 21st century world. The rest of the NHL'ers out there know how to aim, whats his issue?

Mittens was the least effective top six player since Sheppard was tried on a line with Gaborik!

Almost half of his highly inaccurate shots came off of excellent play by Bruno along the boards...no even as slow and ineffective Bruno is in the top 6, he clearly was far more effective than Miettinen could dream of.
