I remember him from back in junior and he still pretty much plays the same style.

Hardworking forward, plays both ends of the ice well, not a guy who is going to lead the offense by any means, but does a lot of the little things well, will win a faceoff, kill a penalty, take a hit, throw a check, that sort of stuff. He's good along the boards, but his skating is what really holds him back. He just doesn't have quick enough feet to cut it.

He pretty much played the defensive forward role in North America.

He sounds just like a player they've been missing, thank you very much on the info.

Decent 3rd liner type in the AHL. Good speed and toughness. Not much of a threat to score.
