There is our BIG 4th line center, our new Pyatt... And he must know some Russian to chat with Yemelin & cie.

Now PG re-sign JT Wyman, and we are in business.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Trotter make the big club. We seriously lack RH shots (only Gionta and White) and size is not as much of an issue now with Cole, Patches, AK, White, Moen, Eller.

I think Whitesnake is a bit more happy now for Hamilton. I know I am.

Don't know about Hamilton, I think he would have to clear waivers going down to the AHL and on recall. They might have other plans for him.

He had a decent season in the KHL. Then 9 pts in 11 playoff games.

I think he could be a good option to fill in for Eller if he isn't ready to start.

I guess this is our gritty signing for our bottom 6?

I must say, I really thought Gauthier was going to sign someone who can win face-off's and fight. Maybe he will still will, but I am not holding my breath.

This is actually a good signing. Everyone forgets how much potential he has. A year playing against men couldn't have hurt him either.

Glad to see him back and hopefully he can get some games with the big club this year.

Still plenty of bottom-six guys out there without a contract, and I seriously doubt Trotter is starting with the Habs anyway so it makes no difference.

and who says the Molsons are cheap!

Interested to see how well he plays, he definitely would've been called up last year. Palushaj has the edge considering size if they're battling for the same spot/call-up.

Agreed. We didn't have to use a draft choice or trade a player to get him. I just don't understand why anyone we not be in favour of signing a guy with decent potential. If he makes the team it means he was better than what we alreay have and if he doesn't, then it really hasn't cost us anything other than a contract.

Great depth move
