I think it's Caputi's turn...his value seems to have taken a serious hit from his injury problems last season. If he's fully overcome them, then he's one of our most NHL-ready prospects.

I went with Olden. Should be a race between Caputi, Olden, D'Amigo and Holzer.

Good call. I was debating between him and Holzer.

After failing to meet expectations as a really young prospect at the AHL level, everyone has forgotten him. I think he could come around in a year or two, and everyone will say "I totally forgot about this guy, where did he come from?".

Yeah, if he plays OHL next year, watch out. He kicked total ass in his stint with the Rangers. But probably will be with the Marlies and will play very well. Even though he did play well in his first 40 games with the Marlies. Only got sent down cause his offence wasnt there. Everything else was great though.

The latest HF rankings has him at 12. Last Spring's rankings put him at 11. Everyone on these boards was overhyping him by quite a bit after his domination at the WJC. Then this season, he put up 5 goals and 15 points in 43 games in his rookie AHL season before being sent back to Kitchener to finish off the year in the OHL (where he did however put up excellent numbers). Kind of brought a lot of us back down to earth...though he still has a ton of potential.

I'm somewhat baffled at Scrivens being ahead of Rynnas and Frattin being ranked at 6th. I think Frattin is this year's D'Amigo, everyone thinks he will be better than he is. Some people even have him slotted in on the Leafs' third line... I would bet that he spends 90% of this year with the Marlies. Working in the opposite direction, I believe Caputi will come out with a strong season and move up significantly in the rankings. After an injury riddled season it seems most people have forgotten about him.

Good prospect, but he was never that good. He was a product of some over-hyping last year, just like Olden is getting this year. Both good prospects, but they both need seasoning before we know if we have a player.

Went with Olden, but people are not giving as much credit to Holzer as he deserves. He's a solid Dman.
