Stay at home defenseman that has skating issues. Previously had major medical issue involving blood clots
That's all I have on him.

I think "drafted by the flames" is all you really need to know...

That's encouraging lol.

So basically you can rely on him to defend his man as long as that man doesn't skate faster than a 4 year old and before he drops dead on the ice from an embolism.

I guess he wants to play here because of the level 1 ER right across the street

Lots of great "borderline" vets they could be signing...

No it's really Wayne Thomas sitting on his hands... He won't go out and sign veterans.. The mantra "pray don't pay"...

I get the whole "draft and develop" concept, I just wish there was a little more "develop" involved instead of the brainless free agent college midget signings of players with no hope of making the NHL.

Come on... when I see confirmed with link, I better see Burns, Havlat, Ovechkin, not Griess and Pelach. Step yo game up DW. Big name signings and trades only.

Can't believe all the *****ing on this signing. It's a depth signing, teams do it believe it or not. He's a physical, stay-at-home defenseman who will fight and stand up for teammates. Not everybody can be a ****ing NHL or AHL all-star.

Sit through 80 games of Worcester Sharks games last year (and 76 this year) and you'll get it.

The guy was drafted in the 1st round 26th overall in 2005. Never given a chance to flourish up here in Calgary, but i can tell you he is very very tough and is a fighter. Of course he hasn't lived up to his potential, but with a change in scenery this could be a good move if they decide to keep him past next season. Definately needs to improve his skating.

The guy also came to camp out of shape and overweight. It's a shame. He could've been a better Regehr.

Thanks, sounds like a project player for the Sharks. He's probally healthy, so lets get him some skating help and see if he can play at the pro level...

I hate Feaster too

Seriously, the regher trade made no sense. They gave Regher AND a 2nd for a couple AHLers. The ****?

Pelech is exactly the type of 3-6 defenseman you would want on an AHL team.

I've never heard of him. He must have had some potential since he was a first round pick. For the sake of the Worcester guys, I hope he contributes.
