OP: not gonna happen... Take out one of Kadri or Schenn an it's still no. Booth is a good player, with concussion history. Kadri an Schenn are 21 & 20 with big upside.

So 1 comment that would be considered bashing worthy makes me love to bash Leaf fans? Most of my comments on this thread was on the Leafs side. In the Vinny thread, I was simply saying that since the Lightning are not shopping Vinny and they don't have to trade him, it would take an overpayment to obtain him. And on the topic of Leaf proposals being bad, I'm pretty sure that fans from every other team would agree with me.
I would definitely consider this, depending on Booths health.
As for the original deal, the thing with our defenders is that even though we have a lot, we only have one in the mold of Schenn (maybe aulie but still). Schenn isn't expendable, we got a bunch of offensive defensemen as our depth defenders. Schenn is our future shut down d man.

Yeah but what seperates us (For the most part) is that most of us broke down why we wouldn't do this deal with the Panthers, educating the poster about our organization a little bit.

The first one was on your side. It was a terrible proposal and I would have the same comment for any other team involved. Didn't matter who the team was, entertaining comments would follow after a proposal like that.

As a fellow Panther fan...please share whatever you got bro. Seriously though, this is not close (and I don't mean to bash you). I also don't see the logic in why Florida would target this trade (even though we obviously make out well). We are stacked at D already, and Kulikov and Gubranson are going to make our defense very expensive in a few years. Schenn is an improvement on Garrison, but he would also make our defense unrealistically expensive. I would rather keep Garrison (the lesser player) and look at offense. Now Kadri is another story...we could use him in my opinion. If we are going into full rebuild, my modified offer would be:
Booth+Repik for Kadri+a pick
