Fun fact - If you stack both brothers they amount to a 6'2" NHL player.

I get why people are hating on Kris Russell...but I'm hesitant to do so. While he hasn't been able to live up to the hype, he also is still very young at 24 and he now as another offensive defensmen Wiz to mentor him. I think Russell could have a big year this year

I agree with you. The problem is, many if not all have hoped this for a few years now. The guy's built for Arniel's system. I hope he's healthy and I hope he kills it.

The funny thing about the haters, especially the comments about 'sisters' and calling him 'Kristine', they wouldn't say boo if he was standing in front of them. Gotta love internet muscles. Guy plays his ass off. Say what you want about his play or potential, but calling him "Kristine" or making offhand gay jokes? Really lame and embarrassing, folks.

The fact he happens to be Shake's twin is the only thing noteworthy about this trade. Blunden for any other AHL forward with my brother Russell's resume and this is a three-post thread.

Never cared for Blunden as a player. I'm sure he's a nice guy.

I guess this means that my dreams that Kris would be included in a trade are now dashed....

If this is the quality of threads that we can look forward to, it will be a long summer.

The "Kristine" and "sisters" comments just shows a lack of maturity on the part of the posters.

I'm sure you'll change your mind when the Turkey Girl makes an appearance in the thread.

To be fair, so far as I can tell there's only one poster who's calling Kris "Kristine".

You won't catch me knocking Kris, as I've been a big fan of his since his days in Medicine Hat. I, too, think he's due for a big season in the NHL, and will be one of the first ones to call out the people who bashed him when he does.

Reading puck-rakers comments is considered cruel and unusual punishment in 46 states, and Puerto Rico.

Dear G-d. That's absolutely horrifying. I simply cannot believe that there's as many as four states that think it's okay.

Well... Does Texas think there is such a thing as cruel and unusual punishment? (Oh and I love Texas). There's one for you.

Only 3. Arkansas outlawed it in May.

Don't forget, they have a much bigger "insider" presence than we have here at HFBoards.

Why, because they post on a news site instead of a fan site?
