I also hope that Pulkkinen develops fast and can have a change to play with prime time Datsyuk.

Obviously this is all pie in the sky. And I know Geno Malkin is primarily a center. But man would he ever be amazing with Pavel. He'd create tons of space for Pav with his size and speed; and Geno can finish. Datsyuk would be feeding him the puck all day long. It would be sick, Pav would finish the season with 60+ assists easy. And I think Geno would pot nearly 60.

I think you're overlooking Poseidon. He's a little long in the tooth, but you can't underestimate the value of RELEASE THE KRAKEN.

It was pretty obviously Brett Hull. Hull understood how to find that quiet spot on the ice and Datsyuk - having eyes in the back of his head - would find him and put the puck on his tape for the score. I remember once reading an article about how some Red Wing used to tap his stick on the ice or yell out to Datsuyk or do something along those lines and it annoyed Pavel to no end so he asked him to stop doing that. Datsyuk was like "don't worry, I can see you just fine."

Yeah I remember reading a similar article. Datsyuk has other worldly vision, no doubt. Which may be the reason everyone is suggesting we sign some deity as his line mate...

After a shift on Datsyuk's line, the Russian made sure to speak with Franzen on the Detroit Red Wings' bench.

"Don't yell," said Datsyuk quietly. "'I know where you are."

Franzen smiled thinking about it. He is in his third season in the NHL, played in Sweden's elite league and in international competitions, but he hasn't had many linemates who claim to see everything on the ice and then back it up with their play. "He's sick," said Franzen, using English slang as a compliment. "You think that he doesn't see you, but he knows exactly where you are. And he hates when you yell for the puck. Hates it. He wants the other team to forget about you and then he gets you the puck."

The line Russia had in the 2010 WC with Kovalchuk - Datsyuk - Malkin looked pretty amazing for the 2 games or so they played together.

Iginla. I believe with Datsyuk as his Robin, Iggy'll be able to put up 50+ easily.
