that's true, but heatley would give the DEL another push and i'm quite sure he won't be the last to sign here.

Has anyone heard anything new in regards to Heatley coming to the DEL? Or does he need to wait due to legal circumstances?

Kapanen signed a contract for the entire season, which was voided (it was probably a way to force Dallas to offer him a one way contract), and then signed a "lock out" contract, so he's now playing for Zug.

heatley can't decide. his agent said only berlin and kassel are candidates, berlin's manager said they don't count on heatley because many teams want him...no one really knows what it's all about.

Can´t answer this question, but a report says that Gelinas is going to replace Josh Holden who´s heading to Hämenlinna.

Interesting signing, always been a fan of Gelinas

Holden unexpectedly left before the first regular season game, claiming that his wife didn't feel well away from home, but the true reason is that he got a better contract offer from HPK.

I don't know much more about Gelinas as I haven't read anything official about it (I learned it directly from a Morges player). Maybe there will be something in tomorrow's newspaper.

Hockeyfans.ch - that´s where i´ve got my news from

Morges verpflichtet NHL-Profi Martin Gelinas

Morges, 22. September

Looks like Ambri-Piotta of the NLA is the newest bidder for Heatley. They seem to look for a replacement for injured top scorer Jean-Guy Trudel. Hnat Domenichelli, a good friend of Heatley's is also playing for Ambri, which could become a factor in Heatley's decision. As of now, I'd say that the chance for a DEL team to sign Heatley is rather small.

No, that's definitely not the case. They're still in the NLB.

There is an article about Gelinas in today's "24 heures" newspaper (http://www.24heures.ch/home/journal/...Rubrique=Sport , in french). Here's some interesting part :

"I'm really looking forward to meet him, said Morges coach Olivier Ecoeur. The phone conversation I had with him make me believe he really wants to play for us. He even phoned me saturday to learn about the result of our saturday night game."

"I can't tell an exact figure, but he's really cheap (Morges' season budget is 1.9M CHF, or 1.2M €). He's coming here because one of his friend is living in the Lausanne area (Morges is 10km away from Lausanne), and told him about our team and how living here is nice. (...) He just want to stay in good shape and have fun. He don't care about the financial aspect as he'll even pay his insurances himself."

"The contract details were settled in five minutes, without any intermediate, add Ecoeur. That was so easy that's it's almost to good to be true. (...) Martin even told the club to book the cheapest fly, and paid himself the difference to get a business class ticket."

The question is, what's more important to him, playing with a friend in Ambri or being with his grandparents in his mother's birth place in Berlin.

It's so confusing sometimes.

Would be easier, when all countries had their own board!

Btw.: This is the first time, I see these "rumours" confirmed.

And never say "Durch den Wind" to me again.
