I think at an absolute minimum you have to expect deals for both those guys at or above 3.5m/year...but imo it's going to be about 4m. As with Anisimov, I have no problem spending a few hundred thousand more on guys that make up the core of this team. Hopefully they both agree that a 4 year, 16m deal is fair for both sides. That will bring them both up to just under (Dubi) or over (Cally) age 30, where they will still have another big contract available if they perform these next 4 seasons. Lock them up and this team is ready to make a run in the next couple of years.

I wouldn't mind if Cally/Dubi got around 4.5m....especially both were 4+ year deals.

honestly I think slats is going to try and use the Marc Staal contract as an example but at the same time I believe only 1-2 ufa years were bought out on that. If slats wants to buy out 3-4 ufa years look for the deals to come in over 4 mill.

For example Staal basically signed a 5 year 20 mill deal. I'm sure slats also offer 6 and 7 year deals to buy out more ufa years with higher cap hits. I believe that slats will use those exact offers and present them to Cally and Dubi regarding same # of ufa years bought out. This will also show staal and his agent that they didn't get jipped but cally and dubi just accepted more ufa years bought out.

IIRC, Anisimov doesn't score any empty netters. That means all his goals (unlike Dubinsky) are pure goals. Not to take away from Duby, but that does speak volumes in terms of goal scoring. I'd say Anisimov is just as good, if not better, than Duby at goal scoring.
