That gives us 241 goals, good for 8 better than last year and 5th best in the conference, without even factoring goals from the D, so id say thats optimistic sided, though not unheard of.

No long injuries?

Gaborik- 32
Richards-24
Wolski- 19
Dubinsky-26
Callahan-25
Anisimov-21
Stepan-16
Fedotenko-11
Boyle-13
Prust- 6
Rupp- 5
Avery+Zucc= 15 goals

Girardi-7
Staal-5
Erixon-3
McD-4
Sauer-1
6th-2

235 goals. More or less.

I think Gabby hits 40 if he's healthy, Richards 25+, and Dubi 30 if he plays with them, but other than that i'm gonna go with Fitzy.

Dubinsky (26) - Richards (24) - Gaborik (41)
Wolski (13) - Stepan (19) - Callahan (25)
Fedotenko (14) - Anisimov (23) - Zuccarello (15)
Rupp (7) - Boyle (16) - Prust (9)

Staal (10) - Girardi (4)
McD (3) - Sauer (2)
MDZ (8) - Erixon (3)

242, give or take from extra forwards/7th D. This is considering Gaborik will probably play around 70 games this season, and nobody goes down with a bad injury.

That, sir, would put us at #1 in the league.

Let's put it this way: 246 goals is 3 GF/G

If the team scores 230, they'll be fine. With that being said:

Gaborik - 40 (35)
Richards - 24 (22)
Dubinsky - 25 (20)
Callahan - 25 (20)
Anisimov - 20 (15)
Stepan - 20 (15)
Wolski - 18 (12)
Boyle - 9 (7)
Prust - 6 (4)
Rupp/Avery - 6 (5)
Feds - 7 (5)
Zucc - 10 (6)

(211 goals from the forwards)

Staal - 8 (5)
Girardi - 5 (3)
McDonagh - 5 (2)
Sauer - 2 (1)
Erixon - 2 (1)
MDZ - 7 (4)

(29 goals from the defense)

240 goals on the dot. Good for 3 GA/G which could be top 10 in the league.

Numbers in parentheses are bare minimums for the players. That total for the team would be 194. That would be near the bottom of the league. So, with that being said, it's possible for our goal totals to be anywhere in the league. Just need the breaks to go our way. I'll say the team will finish somewhere with 230-235 goals at the end of the season.

I see why people think this team will have over 3 GF/G, but it's only done by the top 10 offenses in the league, and players will have to progress, not regress to do that. It's possible, but still unlikely.

Assuming we remain relatively healthy. Our D chips in with around 20 goals for a total of 240.

I agree. However I would have Prust in double digits and have Boyle with at least five more.

A healthy Gaborik + a healthy Richards + Chemistry should equal at least 40 goals for Gaborik. I think, if they mesh well, he could get close to 50. Not a certainty but it could happen. Richards career high in goals was actually last season, where he netted 28. I think 20 to 25 is a fair assessment for him.

I can see Dubinsky and Callahan getting around 25 each. Wolski I can see 20 or so. I think Boyle struggles to hit 10. Rupp, Feds, Avery, and Prust will get 5 to 8 each. Stepan I can see netting 20 again, same with Anisimov.

If MDZ gets out of the Soph slump he was in last year and is a regulary on the blueline, I can see 10 to 12 goals from him (Mostly on the PP). Erixon I could see 5 to 8. Same could be said from Staal and Girardi. Sauer should improve on his numbers from last season, and I could see 5 or so from him.

Lundqvist with one goal lol j/k.

You guys are all crazy if you think Gabby is going to score 40-45 goals. Did you all not just get done watching that piss poor effort he gave last year?

Did you miss the year prior where he netted over 40 with no true number one center?

He got hurt right off the bat last season and it more then likely nagged the rest of the year.

A healthy Gaborik and a true number one center should be 40+ goals. The real question is will he have chemistry with Richards.
