Yes. Yes they do. And those goals aside, it's everything else he did in the game that seals it. The kid is a machine.

Man Tarasenko is one hell of a player. The Blues are so stacked with good forwards...it's not fair that they have a potential stud too now..

I think Yakupov is a great talent but having too many stars might not help him in his quest for a Calder Cup.

I think it's going to be between Schultz, Tarasenko and Huberdeau.

It's been a long time since we've had someone with a nose for the goal like him.

He's exactly what this team needed and we built correctly around him with a solid core of players.

let's not get carried away. I remember last year or the year before, when MSP Magnus Pairevi Svenson had a hat trick in a pre season goal. Everyone thought he was the next hall of famer.

I am sure Tarasenko will be a good player. Keeping in mind he was playing KHL and he's in game shape. Wait till all NHL players come into form then we'll see.

Ducks fan here, all I can say, Tarasenko may not win Calder - I think he will - but he is in my opinion the best first year player by a wide margin. He is just so great. PPG player on the long run and more important a great 3 zone player.

The 1st goal wasn't anything to write home about but that 2nd goal was something else! What a display of individual skill there, sick, sick goal!

i did, and tarasenko was great, and i expect him to win the calder and be a star, but it was just one game. it does not matter much more than if he had had a bad game.

Kid is nasty.

Wanted Sens to take him in 2010. Pulling for him.

Tarasenko's debut reminded me of Bure's debut.

Very impressive.

Please don't compare Tarasenko to MPS

Tarasenko has been since day 1 my pick for calder, he showed off what he's capable of yesterday

Exactly. Tarasenko always had the talent. The only reason he went so late in the draft was because no one was sure if he'd come to the NHL.

This kid has star potential. He'll be in the Calder race for sure.
