Hungarian jersey. or is it?

hello you guys, I've recently bought a hungarian jersey for around 20 euros, made by a hungarian company named "lancast".

according to my researches, this jersey is nothing but a low quality lancast training sweater with only "hungary" written on it. I think hungarian national team doesnt actually wear this, they wear the jerseys made by m-sport. but I'm kinda new in ice hockey and I want to ask you guys, does the hungarian team actually wear this? (I don't think they do, though)

this is the image of the jersey;

haha yeah maybe. but wherever I look, I see the jersey that is in the IIHF website which you've sent the link to.

I think this "lancast" is illegally putting the hungary name on their jerseys because once, I saw a hungarian football team's shirt by lancast and it wasn't even nearly close to the real one made by adidas.. but who knows?

thanks though.

I don't think it's illegal just to put the word "Hungary" on a jersey. Are they trying to pass it off as an official jersey?

their OFFICIAL jerseys are made by Nike when they reach the top level. and Tackla when they play below the top division. Anything else is a fan jersey or possibly a tournament jersey. The jerseys by M-Sport are just fan jerseys or sometimes they will wear them for pre tournament games.

notice that none of the jerseys even closely resemble what you have

World hockey jerseys has these hungarian pre tournament jerseys.

It could possibly be a jersey for their NT in other kind of hockey like either inline hockey, ball hockey etc.

the tag on the jersey says something like "hungarian ice hockey official jersey" but the ice hockey team doesn't wear it on the ice, the inline hockey team or the ball hockey team either.

well, thank you for sharing the actual jersey pics. it was enlightening.
