The Squadron (Winnipeg Jets Supporters from Out of Province)
I live in Vancouver, and I am a Winnipeg Jets supporter. I will be attending the 8 March 2012 Vancouver Canucks v Winnipeg Jets game, assuming I can get a ticket when they go on sale. Sadly, that’s the only time that the Jets will be coming to Vancouver. Unless of course we meet in the Stanley Cup Finals, but there’s not much chance of that happening. How many other Jets supporters are there out there that live in Vancouver and the surrounding areas. I think it would be neat if we could get seats in the same area and form our own little cheering section.

Yeah, the chance of the Canucks making it to the finals again is very low

You know, I was thinking the same thing. But probably for different reaosns. If the Canucks win a third Conference Final game, I hear the City of Vancouver plans to fine the Club $50 million dollars.
I have a feeling the Canucks will have a step back this upcoming year, unless something happens again.
There are a tons of Winnipeg people that live in Metro Vancouver, its not that hard to find if you ask the right people
Making Schneider the starter would be a good first step. But who'd take Luongo and how much would it cost them to get rid of him. Maybe if the Canucks offered up a first round pick, someone would take the contract off their hands.
Since I will be back in Alberta for most of the 2011-12 season, I may as well see if there are many displaced Winnipeg Jets fans in the province. Maybe we could pick some spots that would be a good place to meet and watch the Jets.
In Calgary, I used to work at the Cat N Fiddle pub on weekends for a year, and its a great environment. In Edmonton, I would assume somewhere near Whyte Ave would be good.

Just be careful you don't get your ear or nose bitten off by one of the many drunken rigpigs on Whyte Ave Seriously, it's getting bad down there
I live outside the Boston area and am a Winnipeg Jets supporter. The Bruins will always be my #1 team, but I've also always wanted the Jets back in the NHL. I've followed the "Return of the Jets" campaign closely for the past couple seasons on jetsowner.com and TSN. I'm pumped that NHL hockey is coming back to the Peg. My plans are to make the Jets my "second team", so to speak. I'm hoping to get tickets to the first Jets @ Bruins game back in the Garden, November 26th.

I'm from Hamilton. My favourite team used to be Chicago, but after they traded my favourite player (Byfuglien) I thought "What the hell?" my team just won the cup, now I can support another rebuilding franchise in Atlanta.
My friends all thought it was odd, but we all have very unique favourite teams to begin with (I mean seriously who actually likes Toronto?).
Then they moved to the Peg. So my favourite team is Canadian after all.
I'm also going to try and catch them when they play Toronto.
Even with those God awful ticket prices.
I'm in Toronto, but am a big Jets supporter. The Leafs will always be #1 in my heart but I've always like cheering for the Jets as a kid. I loved seeing the Whiteout, Dancing Gabe and the giant Queen painting at the old Winnipeg Arena. I'm glad to see at least two of the three at the MTS Centre next year. I'm also from the ROTJ/JetsOwner camp as well (mig29fulcrum). I'd love to see the Jets play the Leafs at the ACC but tickets are impossible to get; going to Buffalo is a cheaper and more realistic option in terms of being able to score tickets. Can't wait to once again cheer on the Jets.

It'd be nice if they'd bring back the Queen, though I understand they don't really have a place to put her, right?
Hoping to get up to WPG for a game this season, but if ticket prices are just too ridiculous then I'll have to catch them 16 Feb in St. Paul. Never like seeing teams I like play the Wild though; I feel so conflicted.
Winnipeg born, BC raised, and Calgary resident now. With the return of the Jets I see a likely return for myself soon. Family is all back out there and the luster of Alberta has been lost after 10 years.
