Tim Connolly Highlight Video

Hey guys. Here's a video I came across on Youtube. Watching this video reassures this signing in my head (even though anyone can look good in highlight video's). I can't wait to see this guy play with Kessel. Unfortunately it doesn't show much of his playmaking/passing ability, but it shows the great skill that he possesses including his scoring/puck handling ability.

Enjoy.

I'm noticing a lot of back handed shots in that video...

If everyone stays healthy there will be a lot of sweet goals from our top line this year.

Also, if anyone liked the song in the video as much as I did, it's called Life Is Beautiful by Sixx AM

This guy can make the puck talk. Expect him to score in 15 straight games then get 1 assist in the next 25 and then get injured. Love how most of those highlights were vs sens and leafs.

I dunno if anyone else saw it, but he reminded me a lot of Kadri in a lot of those clips. Amazing dangles!

A couple of nice point shots. I didn't realize he had such a good slapper.

Now, if he can just stay healthy all season.

hes incredibly skilled we already know that. Over 10 years I would hope that a top 6 forward would have some highlights like that, but the problem is his lack of consistency and his alleged poor work ethic.

I like to take youtube vids with a grain of salt, but I do like the signing because it gives us a stopgap until one of our centers are ready.

You use the Youtube code after the equal sign. So it looks like this, [ YT ] 483lrIJnTHM [/ YT ], but without the spaces.

Connolly to Kessel with Lupul right in front of the net could/should be deadly. If Phaneuf starts hitting the net on the PP watch out.

You guys noticed his sick backhand too, exactly what I wrote early last week while looking through his highlight reels:

Its to bad a guy of this caliber suffers to the injuries he has had. My god, the hands are just nuts! Lets hope he trains hard and comes out with a bang this year playing on the top line. Great player.

Don't forget we have Franson now too. He's got a bomb from the point as well.

He doesn't need to score. He needs to put up 50-60 points, mostly assists and let Kessel do most of the talking. We have goalscorers already.

Everyone knows he's skilled. It's his health that is the only concern for me. I know he'll produce when playing.

Didn't know his backhand was that good though.
