Toughest enforcer in hockey but he's a liability on the ice.

I think he's the enforcer Shero was looking for, for the big club and Valabik for the baby Pens.

The guy is 6'5" and 250lbs. If he doesn't start in the NHL...I want to see a bash brothers line with Veilleux and MacIntyre with Valabik paired with that line.

Better or worse than Eric Godard at actually playing hockey? Please think real hard about this, lol.

A few hours after Godard signs in Dallas, I wonder if they were trying to get him on the same deal, but he took the extra year from the Stars. Ah, who cares, really? He might not even play 10 games for us.

So long as this guy doesn't suck as much as our last Steve Mac.

I guess we are going to be carrying the max roster size all season long...

I would love to see the Pens play the Isles with Valabik and MacIntyre in the line-up. I'd love to see how stupid Haley & Gilles want to get then.

I really hope Haley isn't on the Isles this season, with the signings they have made it doesn't seem likely, but Gillies will be buried now.

Not so much Valabik, but you could likely see MacIntyre and Engelland get sweaters for that first Islanders game.

Toughest ****er in the league, but will probably only dress for rivalry games.

And he should...I'm sorry. You still need players like Big Mac in the regular season especially against the Flyers and Islanders etc...

Love, love, love this signing. As someone else said, he's no more of a liability than Godard was....and twice as crazy.

He's actually not a great fighter...he's just a ****in mountain of a human being, which that alone can win him fights. He without a doubt serves his purpose.

So they can sit in the press box 60 games a year? I would rather have them in WBS.

Being tough isn't the same as being the best. Godard has been an undisputed top 3 fighter in the league since the lockout.

Godard's replacement eh? don't know to much about the guy, judging by some of the people posting it sounds like he is one tough SOB.

I wish you guys kept Godard, he and Gillies had some great fights last year. I like Macintyre though.
