Your total shot in the dark predictions for next season.

Something unforeseen will happen next year, this much is obvious, but my question is....what will?

Predict here and we can come back and laugh or gasp at how close some of our off the wall predictions were.

Myself? I am calling a 25-25 season out of our boy Nodl. Why is this? He'll end up playing with Jagr and going bonkers. In a "I'm still Andreas Nodl and even I have my limits" way.

What about you guys? Don't just confine it to stats, either. You can predict us trading Giroux for Mike Richards if you want.

Bryzgalov plays out of his mind, but he will still be a lightning rod of media criticism.

JVR goes out of his mind, scores 40 goals!

Holmgren does something that makes us go "hmm?"

Jagr goes out of his mind, scores 40 goals!

(as you can see, I'm erring to the side of ridiculousness.)

Our team will quickly find an identity and finish a top 4 team in the East.

I predict that our first round pick will be traded by the time of the draft, and all of our seconds will be gone as well. I guess that really isn't a shot in the dark, as it is pretty much par for the course.

People freak out and lose their **** when Couturier does not make the team out of camp and immediately start calling him a bust.

Flyers make it to the conference finals as a 6th seed, losing in 7 games.

The Flyers acquire Ryan Suter at the deadline for Nick Cousins, a 1st in 2012 and whenever we have 2nd again and then proceed to win the Stanley cup because this team will gel, and surprise a lot of people.

One can hope right?

Im sorry ill do a more realistic trade proposal

Nashville

Carle
2nd
3rd

Philly

Weber

Am i doing this right

To get Weber would be absolutely incredible and i like how holmgren goes out and gets players before they hit the market to give us a better shot at resigning them.
Maybe change the 1st to a 2nd but you would have to give a lot to get Weber(of course this is indeed if Nashville trades him though)

-Briere is going to have a significant injury (20+ games)
-We squeeze into 6-8th place in the conference
-Our PK will be far worse
-Our PP will improve slightly
-Bobrovsky will be frustrated in his new role, voice it to media
-Bryzgalov is going to be frustrated with the eventual bad media attention
-Jagr finishes with 50-60 points, and will have issues with Laviolette
-Pronger will play less than 55 games
-We will be rather cold/lukewarm to start the season
-Brayden Schenn will be inconsistent, with flashes of brilliance to lacklustre (not so shot in the dark, and if he plays)

Briere and Hartnell have good years

JvR and Roo both score 60+ points

Jagr starts off great, than cools off significantly

Bryz plays his way into vezina contention

Kimmo and Pronger have injury plagued years

Max Talbot becomes a fan favorite

As much as I would like it to be better, but I think there's a good chance that a situation such as this occurs.

When I see something positive happen to the club, my predictions will reflect it .

It's just my opinion, likely not shared by many.

Flyers get swept in 2nd round, only to blow up their team once more.

Pronger can't play, and we hear lots of ugly things about him.

We don't totally suck for at least half the season.

Jagr scores the GWG in game 7 of the eastern conference finals against the Penguins, in Pittsburgh.

This. But it'll happen in the first round instead.

Flyers will have $17 million in cap space by the end of the season. Entice two of Suter, Bogosian, and Yandle to join the team next season.

WEBER i want WEBER hhaha how about we just take Nashvilles top 2 dman and make them ours!!! that would be amazing... plus there probably will be a bonus cushion and an increase in the salary cap so we could have like 22 to 25 million in cap space to sign JVR, Voracek, and maybe Coburn. Carle is most likely gone
