Apparently the Pens are trying to fit Neal in as a RW, much to Pens fans chagrin. He's not be impressive, which isn't surprising considering what we remember of him trying to play RW.
We're so going to regret trading Niskanen!

Niittymaki out for 12 weeks for the Sharks.
http://www.mercurynews.com/sharks/ci...nclick_check=1
Quote:
The Sharks will be without backup goalie Antero Niittymaki for an estimated 12 weeks after he underwent hip surgery in Los Angeles.
Niittymaki has been dealing with lingering pain since missing 17 games last season with a lower-body injury. When the pain continued despite traditional treatment, he consulted a specialist and had the procedure done earlier this week.
The surgery did not catch the Sharks by surprise. In July, they signed goaltender Thomas Greiss to a two-year contract at least in part because of the possibility that Niittymaki would be sidelined, general manager Doug Wilson said Thursday.

Gotta say I"m a fan of Shanny's hardline approach.
No more limp-wristed laughers from Colie.

Yea, so far I'm liking it.
I think him being an actual player, especially at that level really helps, as he has a different take on how serious some of those hits can be.
I'm sick of all the cheap shots, and I'm extremely pleased with what he's been doing so far.

Completely agree.
Also love that he's explaining why the suspensions are being handed out.

The videos showing everything very clear with his explanations are an incredibly genius idea. Very happy with all of the suspensions so far, this **** needs to go.

Poor Woywitka ...
Btw it's great how you guys stick together in the VAN / DAL prospal, every week one useless thread will be opened with worse prospals.
I like to see their face, if we make the playoffs. 90% think, that we don't have a chance.

If Montreal sends Woywitka down, it's something Dallas should've done.
I also found an appropriate Deal With It image macro for the next thread of fail in trade.

I can't wait to see if the folks over at HBO can somehow create a personality for Richards on this year's installment of 24/7.

Former 8th overall pick and 90-point WHL scorer Zach Hamill waived by Boston. Paying attention Glennie?

This whole Simmonds homophobic slur thing is ridiculous. I've heard somebody get called a ****** every single game I've ever played in. This **** happens every game multiple times.
The political answers from GM's and players make me want to shoot myself. Obviously it's a ****ed up thing to say but I've heard worse. Like Hitler type of **** worse.
