Certainly a better offer than the stuff we were throwing around.
Lombardi is getting desperate as his long-term plan fails to come together. This will be the 2nd year in a row the Kings won't have a 1st rounder. Fine by me. And we have their 2nd rounder.
1st is conditional. If LA makes the playoffs it's this year's first, if not it is next year's.

Detroit's streak snapped. Vancouver wins it in a shootout (of course).

Right... and Alec Martinez is the next Bobby Orr.
Anyway, I think this lends a little bit more credence to the idea that JMFJ was potentially available for Neal.

I'm saying it doesn't matter.
Martinez has played 30 games, not 20.

LOL What a fail that was.
Whitney grabs it after a Flame falls, scores on a breakaway. 3-2 Phoenix over Calgary in the 3rd.

Jokinen ties it in Calgary. 3-3. Powerplay goal with less than 2 left in the 3rd.

This is gonna go to a shootout. Flames look like that's what they're playing for anyways.

BAM. Mike Smith does it again.
Phoenix wins in the shootout. Stars wake up in 8th place.

Funny how LA has switched places with PHX. We were 1 of 5 teams fighting for 8th at the ASB, now we are 1 of 6. ****ing ducks

If Phoenix makes the playoffs and we don't I think I'm bandwagoning with them. Other than Torres, that's a pretty likable team.
Phoenix winning the division over San Jose would be pretty funny too.

Think I'll be bangwagoning with the Jets and/or Panthers. Can't bring myself to cheer for the Yotes unless it's against the Sharks, Canucks, and Wings (which honestly could be a realistic route for them...ugly).

I'm relieved Carter's been traded. He isn't what we need, and I think it's too big of a risk for us to take at this point. We aren't desperate like LA clearly is.

Horcoff getting a penalty shot. Not sure how when he got the shot off without any trouble what so ever.
