Agreed. Having Kruger develop a bit of a scorers touch would be nice, but it isn't paramount. If he ends the season with 40-50 assists on the third line, I think everyone will be happy.
How did his assist numbers look over that same period of time?
If he ends up with 50 assists on the Hawks 3rd line they are going to win the Stanley Cup. Last year only 2 Hawks got over 40 assists, Toews and Kane.
Why do people still ask, or think that certain players won't play top 6 or bottom 6?
The only players guaranteed to be in the Top 6 are Toews, Kane, Sharp, and Hossa. Probably almost everyone else will see time with those 4.

When I hear "any chance he plays in the top 6" I assume that means for a large chunk of time(like more than half the season). If somebody asks "is there any chance stalberg plays in the top 6", would you respond "yea, he'll play there for 5 minutes a night a little bit"? Or would you say "no, he won't be in the top 6"?
Krüger will never be a goal scorer. I see him with 20 goals a season at best. He will become a good Two Way Center that is good on the PK, PP and ES. He just isn't a finisher.

I think thats what Bowman sees him as.
Frolik will have a full season with the Hawks, and with good talent around him, we should see one of his better seasons IMO
