Ncaa 2012

This game came out on Tuesday, anyone else get it? This is by far best football game made to date , and it is loaded with features. One major gripe is the manual, is it now standard for companies not to include game manuals ? Just screams cheap to me, I want a physical hard copy manual, not an interactive one.

Besides that though, this game is great and the graphics are stunning. At K-mart they are giving 20$ gaming coupons with the purchase of this game.

I'm still a newbie to the college football scene, but man this game is awesome.

Got introduced last year into the series, and i love the game.

I wish I could pass though.

Passing still annoys me. Players still teleport and jump 5 yards from a standing position. I wish I could turn off all the extra display stuff. This is more of a general complaint about games than just for ncaa 2012. I don't care about replays, flashy graphics that tell me that I'm currently playing the game I have in my cd drive, and fans with coats made out of precious metals.

With all that said, I enjoy the game. 7.5/10.

I buy only two sports games a year. NCAA and then NHL (typically trade in the game I own before NCAA comes out and NCAA for NHL). This may be the year I continue to play it throughout the year. Very solid product EA. Now....would it be too much to ask for some of these options to be put in NHL??? I would LOVE to have a state championship game for the BAP....

I don't even like football but I've always like Football games.

How does it compare versus games like Madden? Last football games I was into were the 2k ones for DC!

Question. Since I don't really know all the players but I just like playing sports games. Will I noticed enough improvements to get 2012 for 59.99$ or should I just grab 2010 for 19.99$.

I actually watched videos of 2012 and it looks pretty impressive. Reminds me of the old school DC 2k football games But obviously much improved.

Was also thinking of getting Fifa. Friend already just lent me The Show. Honestly hockey games get disrespected compared to NFL, NCAA, FIFA, MLB.

I actually haven't bought a Madden game since 2006 to be honest. I've found very few changes ever made year to year for the game in comparison to NCAA and NHL. I like NCAA but the college games offer more variety in things like the schedule and bowl games. You can literally play NCAA for hours a day and not even finish a season because of the recruiting things you can do and all of the other stuff to your dynasty or even to your BAP player. To me, Madden doesn't really touch on those like we see with Be A GM in NHL or Dynasty in NCAA. I could be wrong, its been forever.

FWIW, FIFA and NHL are the two EA games that win all the awards and receive the highest praise. However, Madden and NCAA are the cash cows.

Madden simply sold before they got the exclusive rights because everyone wanted to play it year in and year out. Most of their other games are ways of "trying out" things and get feedback to see if it works out or not. I think that is how that trading card thing kicked off back in 2000, the training camp stuff, and now the BAP stuff.

i think the kicking thing (using the sticks) started in NCAA as well, not 100% sure. I use to love playing NCAA. I was greatest the running back ever.

I am not all that impressed with the graphics on the PS3 at all for this game.

Thinking about picking this up for the PS3 tomorrow, never really played much football games so I was wondering if this would be a superior buy to Madden?

Passing is really ****ing hard. The CPU seems to have the ability to intercept balls that they have no business even looking at. Also, the no-huddle offense still hasn't been fixed. EA Sports doesn't seem to realize that no-huddle is not the same thing as hurry up offense.

Other than those complaints, this is a solid game. I just played through a 7 game schedule as a MLB/HB and was offered a scholarship to plenty of big name schools. I chose Ohio State. I'm addicted to this mode.

I think my next one I will be a RB primarily. I had a blast with it as my secondary position. I took my high school all the way to the New York State Championship and dominated the final game, including getting a sack on the final drive to stop the other team from tying it. They even had the game in the Carrier Dome, which was a nice touch.

Rtg pisses me off as a RB and your up by 3 2 minutes left, and your coach calls 3 passes in a row...

That kills it for me

I played as a WR for a few games in RTG and never had a ****ing pass thrown my way. Was wide open quite often, too.

When you increase in rank your able to change the play a certain # of times a game which has saved the mode for me, but your right play calling in Rtg needs a huge overhaul.

But still, this game is amazing.

Only reason I play it as the QB.
