Trade makes no sense. Leafs have centre depth now. Lock thread.

Turris is not small, weak and fragile, he's a big body, he was often given 4th line minutes because Dave Tippet relys on vets, we played a secure defensive system and Turris wasn't that great defensively. In the playoffs ( you know what those are right? ) he was given 1st line minutes and showed signs of brilliance so we'll keep Turris you keep Kadri.

Btw, Hockeybuzz is bs looking for leaf hits for $$.
Little crap about the playoffs and then you give some BS about Turris playing first line minutes.

Get back to me if Kadri is a third/fourth liner in a couple of years but I don't expect to hear from you.

I think that the Leafs needed more than just Kadri to get Turris.

As i posted earlier, i never said Kadri would a 3rd liner, i think he will be a second liner who can fill in on the 1st line if needed, but i would not trade Turris for him. I bet burke would though if he was given the chance because Kadri doesn't really fit into Burke type of center.

Also your fellow leaf fan took a shot at our fan base first, i just retaliated.

This would make no sense for the Leafs. Can't really see it being true.

Burke had an offer to trade down instead of choosing Kadri and wouldn't even discuss it with Bryan Murray. Maybe you are too far away to know what the situation actually is.

Well, fans of neither team like this trade, thus can we cease with the "my" prospect is better than "your" prospect banter?

Also, Turris > Kadri....

Maybe Coyotes think that Kadri will play better in the desert?

Why would either team do this?

2 players with big potential an both have shown signs of breaking out last season.

This trade makes no sense from either side.

If the Leafs can pull this off, they should do it.

Turris >> Kadri

Turris has Brad Richards type ceiling. Kadri on the other hand.... defensively suspect, inconsistent top 6 forward.

From watching.

I'm sorry if you're in love with Kadri the same way Canucks fans are with Hodgson.

I wouldn't say Brad Richards ceiling, I would just be happy if he can become like Riberio without the diving. 60-70pt center is What Turris will become.

No Leaf fan worth their salt would consider this.

This seems stupid. Neither team takes a step forward here...

Toronto would have to add for this to work.

How many?

How many Turris an how many Kadri?

Your Brad Richards comparison shows you haven't seen much of Turris... I'm not taking anything from Turris, but he's not really a playmaker.

Yep. His strengths are skating and shooting. He's more like a smaller, smarter Olli Jokinen. Maybe a mini Jeff Carter.

I'd like this trade if it happened. I've wanted Turris on the Leafs for years, I honestly think he's everything we need for Kessel.

Get'r done, Burke.

I love how the article states why TO would do this, but never mentions why Phoenix would do this. If TO needs centerd, Phoenix needs them way more. Not to mention out GM said out is our weakest position, and that we need a high end center.

If Burke pulls this off 1 for 1 this would be one heck of a trade for him. Props if he can get it done.
