It's probably because I was expecting a sweet taste like many other licorices but I was so thrown off by the salty taste and it made me gag...

Sorry to point this but i just haveto disagree to this important alcohol issue, i think the famouse "fisu" is the original Fish Shot, you dont haveto mix it with anything. I think mixing up with fishermans friend is like poor mens version of it maybe.

Extremely good drink. Everyone should try it before they can ever rest in peace. Costs something like 45 in US dollars per bottle, (33€) but its just so extremely good. Does Not taste like fish, or pure salmiakki. It's fresh, icy and refreshing. Def worth of trying. Watching NHL and drinkin Fish Shot is the happiest trans that man can be in. I love it!

I agree, the original is the best. It's easily my favorite drink.

It's not that expensive. Here it cost something like 22 for 0.7 liters and we have probably the worlds most expensive alcohol. In Estonia it's 19.50 for 1 liter.

I think it tastes more like eucalyptus then salmiakki, hence the cool aftertaste.

Take a pick. They ship around the world, and there's a lot of different types. The price is bit more expensive than usually, but it's cheaper than a flight to Finland for example.
