I agree, he should probably switch over to the Easton or Reebok helmet instead of the enormous Bauer one he has right now. Makes his head look weird.
Maybe he has a huge head?
I am very glad he will be ready to start the season, his line is going to be very important this season. If his line with Kost and maybe DD or Darche could be the added offence that wins games when you have goaltending of the caliber we have in Price. If it spreads the defence of the opposition beyond its capability it has done its job. I am excited for this line. It has the parts to be very successful.
I'm so fricking stoked to see Lars play this season, he's put on 5 pounds, he impressed me in the 2nd half of the season and showed some skill in the playoffs as well

He was dominant in the last 10 minutes of the 3rd period of Game 7 against Boston, and he was doing it with a shoulder injury!!
I have a good feeling for all our current players. I mean, except for Pouliot, our team really gave a lot of themselves on the ice against the Bruins, considered the circumstances. Wiz was sadly injured, Eller was injured. Halpern got injured.
The players we will field come October will be a group filled with positive energy. They seem to like to work together, they don't give up. They buy into Jacque Martin's system.
Can't seem to see a thread about it, and this website's search option is for all intents and purposes non-existent.
Do we have any update on the Eller's (back?) injury? Last I heard he was going to miss a sizeable chunk of the beginning of the season, but do we have a more accurate read on how long that might be?
Looking forward to him anchoring the third line and hopefully bringing some stability to AKost. I assume Desharnais takes the 3 slot in his absence, do you think DDH/AKost could be a potent combo? Is Eller at risk of not even having the third line role if DDH performs too well? I'd suggest AKost-Eller-Desharnais when Eller comes back, but Eller and DDH both seem like such natural centres, one of them would have to be converted.
The prospect of Eller on the 4th line is worrisome. It's is not good for his development, I think we saw that when he'd find himself in between Pyatt and Lapierre or something similar. He was ending up being the only one generating any glimmer of offense, and so it wasn't translating into numbers. Clear waste of hockey smarts. Honestly, it's Gomez who should be worried about his spot, but realistically we all know about JM's crush on veterans, and that's a whole other issue entirely.
According to an interview with a danish newspaper he's a bit ahead of schedule should be ready for camp and has gained about ten pounds of muscle or was it five???
Either way he's been in the gym and he feels great from what i recall!

Aww dynamite, and I completely missed the "Lars Eller ready for season opener" thread
