Richard Stehlik

With all the talk of Klein and Weber (on our board at least), Stehlik usually is not talked about much. He had a good seaon last year, but he plays in the Q which slightly inflates his #'s. Did anyone see him in camp? He was a projected 1st rounder by THN during his draft year if I remember correctly, and the issue said he was the most NHL ready D-man in the draft. Do you guys feel he is under rated even by us... What would you give him as a rating? HF has him ranked as a 5.5 which I feel is slighty low. I think I would give him a 6.5 as I see he could be a top 5 D-man in the NHL. Thoughts?

Agreed.

Suter/Hamhuis
Klien/Weber
Niskala/Stehlik

Looks like a winner to me.

We also tend to neglect Mukhachev, who is said to be NHL-ready right now.

Good Call... That's the exact defenceman pairs that I have set up on NHL2004 for my team consisting of all Predator draft picks.

Stehlik is gigantic, and plays a good game. All of our prospects have flown under the radar here, so I'm not surprised to see little hype out on the boards. However, he had a good camp last year, and I expect him in Milwaukee this year. Does anyone know how he looked this year at camp? Did his equipment ever arrive?

His equipment did arrive. I missed camp Saturday, but I know he skated Sunday.
