Potential AHL (FA) Eligible Players (Playing Last Year In CHL) Rookie Game Invitees?

Hey guys,

Just curious on some guys out there that are threats to earn entry level contracts with an NHL team with a rookie camp invite? Every year multiple players are signed that have been passed over in the draft. Just curious on players that could capitalize with a potential contract?

Buffalo is most likely taking a long look at a forward they invited to their development camp, Phil Varone.
Steven Beyers may possibly have a shot at a contract too, but he's not eligible to play in the AHL this upcoming season.

Hmm, any news on if they will invite him to the rookie games?

Not sure, but taking another look at him couldn't hurt so they will probably invite him if they leave a few of our professional players off the roster at the Traverse City tournament.

They had some other development camp invitees that would be eligible too (Jonathan Parker, Geordie Wudrick) but I'm not sure that we need anymore RW's, so they probably won't be invited.

I also forgot John Cullen, who may get an invite to the tournament too.
If Nathan Lieuwen isn't ready to go by then, we'll have a total of zero eligible goalie prospects.

Cal Heeter has performed well at the Hawks prospect camp the last two years, and the Hawks are looking for a second goaltender for Rockford

Anyone for Ottawa?
Last year all I remember was Brandon Foote and Adam Wallace, not sure if any others
