Agreed, and especially as the story expands they are gonna ignore characters/storylines that add depth. (then again some people that have read the books would prefer that)

I wouldn't say 10x better... more like 1.54, IMO.

Also, it's incredible how much more you pick up on after a second viewing of the first season.
This. I've watched Season 1 three times now and still manage to pick up something different each time. I havent been this excited for a premiere since Season 2 of Boardwalk Empire.

Yeah I dont think you understand what I meant but whatever, Obviously I didnt read anything in between the spoiler tags.

Well I did say that I wasn't sure if you were being serious. There's was nothing outside spoiler tags on that page that would be considered spoilers so yeah I have no idea what you're talking about if you didn't read the spoiler tagged stuff. It's not like you would've been the first person to read something in spoiler tags and then complain about it afterwards.

You know how bad you felt that time you could have seen Mr. T at the mall but missed out? This is even worse!

The Iron Throne comes to Vancouver

I watched the entire 1st season pretty much last night. AMAZING show. That queen and his TWIN brother. Sick man. 3 kids? lol. Makes the Lannigan name look bad. Reading the books now

Of course, HBO. Never question. The naked chicks are SO hot. Especially the foreigner, Shae

“I will hurt you for this. I don't know how yet, but give me time. A day will come when you think yourself safe and happy, and suddenly your joy will turn to ashes in your mouth, and you'll know the debt is paid.” - Tyrion

I get chills every time I read/hear that quote.

Tyrion currently winning 996 to 993 over Arya, who I voted for.

Jon Snow inexplicably has more than twice as many votes as Syrio mother****ing Forel. One character did nothing but pout all season, the other was amazing. Let's vote for the emo kid.

Arya is ONE vote back, come on lets make this happen for her

edit: and yeah, I call bull-**** on Snow over Forel. Syrio is awesome and I hold out hope that he somehow surived his encounter with Trant

double edit: how the **** did Jon make it through his bracket? Varys yeah, obviously, but Tywin AND Ned?

So you guys actually find the Books good? I thought they were really shallow and poorly written honestly I'd rather read Forgotten Realms over it.

Shallow? I don't see it. Martin has completed a completely immersive world with a myriad of fleshed out characters.

This just isn't true. If you disagree with the format of the books or think the 5th book is somewhat ponderous I could see it but GRRM is in fact a MUCH better writer (in the technical sense of the word) than most fantasy authors, especially his contemporaries
