Philthy should get it. The Debils will take the final spot. They have too much talent and did not make it because Parise was injured and they had a slow start. Plus Kovalchuk will likely recover.

The only reason I have any doubts about them is that Fatso is going to turn 40 during the playoffs. Spending the whole season as an almost middle ager may not allow him to hold up.

Flyers. Easy one for me, just don't see them falling any further...

I don't think anyone knows what to expect of Philly next season they turned that team around so much. They could be good yes but they could also be very bad.

I think they'll still be pretty good. Philthy for me.

I went with Montreal over Philly by a slight margin.

Mark my words, the Islanders will make the playoffs this year. If not in the 7th, the 8th. I don't think we should sell them short for our own sake

I thought this would be the round we would started seeing a more even vote instead of all for one team.

So is this for what we think the experts will make the power rankings at the start of next season or is this what we think the rankings will be at the end of this season?

Philthy seems to be the consensus. I actually think it's the Devils. Is everyone forgetting about the run they went on last year?

Bad teams do well to finish up every year... it's deceptive. Brodeur is aging and their defense is suspect.

Plus they have a new coach. The Devils looked good under Lemaire(?), now they have to figure it out with a new guy.

im just not sold on philly

i think they're going to have a hard time making the playoffs

you dont shake up a roster that significantly without some initial setback, and with how competative the east is going to be this year, i could see that being enough to keep them out of the playoffs

I honestly think Philly will be higher than this. They still have a really good team.

Just looking at this shows how good the East could be. Devils Flyers Montreal Carolina and Islanders could all be a team I see fighting for a spot and according to this 3 of the teams wouldn't make it.

Wow, this is actually going exactly as I would predict myself. Philthy is next, and then the Debbies, with MTL a close 9th.

Sting and the majority....agreeing? What is this I don't even...

I kid, I kid.

I'm having a hard time seeing montreal out of the playoffs but if it's the devils vs the montreal for the last playoff spot I have to give the nod to the devils.

We are in for an epic battle in the eastern conference this year. Seems to be the case every single year, it gets more grueling.
