Edmonton would say yes so fast it would set a god damn land speed record.
You are very misinformed.
You can be sure they won't be trading Jordan Eberle for a defensive defenseman. There's no reason for them to do this deal, especially when they give up who will likely be the much better player in this league.
No team would do this. But honestly, Edmonton could use a Schenn like player. Not saying they should give up Eberle to do so. But Schenn would be a player they'd like. He's consistent, he's reliable, and he's going to be a great defensive d man. He won't be flashy, he won't score lots. But not every player needs to do that.
Trying to figure out Eberle's potential. Can he be a #1 Center? Elite Level?
This trade doesn't work for either team. And me thinks edmonton adds not toronto, but that's just my opinion. Schenn+ only goes for a #1 center, and oilers are not trading their top line RW who is part of their core going forward. Edmonton has some good D prospects who they should let play and develop instead of giving up assets for schenn.

Start with kessel and keep adding if you want eberle
Ok let's not get silly here. Schenn is at worst a second pairing guy (#3 D) with huge potential left. That's a stud to me. Unless your referring to wanting a 'stud offensive D' which ok even I can agree he will never be that, that's not his game. I'm not going to bother asking you your reasoning of why you think eberle is worth kessel +... To each their own I suppose
Why are there 10 Luke Schenn to Edmonton proposals every week?
Give it up Edmonton fans.
Nice hyperbole. I've seen 3 Schenn to Edmonton proposals this week. And, before that, I don't recall many (if any at all).
Secondly, if you haven't noticed, there have been basically no Edmonton fans in favour of this deal, even with TOR fans vehemently against it as well. In the MPS for Schenn thread, the Edmonton fans who said they would do it were weary and thought they may regret the trade later, but they'd still pull the trigger.
Doesn't sound like Edmonton fans who are gunning hard for Luke Schenn to me. Give up the trolling. You're bad at it.
