I think people are significantly underestimating how good the Debbies will be.

The return of Parise and the likely rebound by Kovalchuk should put them back in the playoffs. Montreal is close, but their offense doesn't excite me.

I know everyone wants to pick the Devils because they're resilient but when it comes down to it Montreal is a more well rounded team. I'm going with Habs here.

Habs

Price is better than Broduer, and their offense should go forward this season pending players like Cammellari and Gomez play better or don't get hurt.

Habs as well.

The only way they're not 8th or higher (and I think higher) is if they get hit with bad injuries again, or Price has a meltdown mid-season. Otherwise they're better than last year, where they were really unlucky with injuries to core D.

I was torn between Montreal and the Debs. I went with the Devils just because they never go away. Their top 6 has quite a bit of talent. Defense and goal are a bit of a question mark though. Here's to watching Marty get lit up like a Christmas tree!

It's absurd how even the voting is. But the poll speaks the truth, you might as well flip a coin between the Devils and Habs.

gonna keep this going for another day or so...WAY too close to call...not sure a tiebreaker would even matter considering how few votes the other teams ahve gotten....

You're underestimating the Habs, they get a fresh start with Markov, a new top 6er in Cole and possibly a full year of Paccioretty. Devils did nothing to improve their team.

Possible. I just think people are underestimating the Debbies because they had a slow start last season and lost Parise to injury and Kovalchuk to an off-year. I expect them to be much better next year, though I hope I am wrong.

Might be worth doing a tie-breaker, especially since this is where we pick in or out of the playoffs.

In essence they are adding one of the best players in the world to the team that we saw for 99% of last year.

Devils. If the Devils win, I'm voting Montreal on the next poll and vice-versa.
