Blain is the better of the two, in my opinion.
I can't speak for anyone else, but my reasoning is his amazing development curve. His family didn't have the money to put him into well acclimated programs so he was stuck playing tier 2 until the Pats saw what he had to offer. His first year in Regina was his first year of real development with a professional organization.

He's got size, a scoring touch, and (I know it's a flawed stat, but bear with me) a very good +/- compared to his peers. He just strikes me as a potential gem, and has had my vote the past few polls.

Went with Ewanyk. Just sounds like he'll make a good career for himself whereas the other guys I'm not so sure yet. Chorney's way ahead here but would he be more than a #6 dman on most NHL teams? I just have my doubts, is all.

From what I've seen he is very physical as well. I remember at the outdoor game, he absolutely laid someone out.

I've never seen Blain play so I can't comment on him.

Chorney is ready for NHL time, but it'll be hard to get minutes right now. he is the only NHL ready guy on this list.
I voted Samu for his potential.
Davidson looked good in the prospect camp. I think he's quite close with Blain too.

I'm excited for Ewanyk to establish to a gritty bottom six role. He was great against RNH. Glad to see him as an Oil King, and potentially an Oiler. great two-way play. great at faceoffs. promising no doubt.

I went with Martindale based on his top end. That said I doubt that he gets there, if he does we have a very good 2C with size.

and let's give Martindale some credit for perhaps helping to produce points for Prince and Toffoli, and not just the other way around.

Brandon Davidson is a diamond in the rough, will be a late bloomer. Has to improve his skating, then watch out.

Martindale can be a floater, and likes to take one too many nights off. Cannot see the Oilers keeping him.

been a while sense the last poll odd number to stop at, would think this would go to a top 20 or 25
