Went with Pirri, I think he will be the best all around player out of what's left.

Went with Jayes, I think he should be higher but as long as he's top 10.

I'm pretty torn over Pirri, Saad, Jayes and Lalonde..

I'll go with.. Pirri, I guess, but there's pretty much nothing seperating the next few prospects and the poll should reflect that.

I'm interested in what Rating Saad and Danault get.

Saad should be 7.5D
Danault a 7.0C

Are we overlooking Byron Froese? He put up some nice numbers as the #2 center for Red Deer behind RNH.

Saad seems to be getting the 'shiny new prospect' treatment. Can't believe he has more votes than Pirri. I like Saad and think he's a good prospect but Pirri putting up the points he did as a 19 year old in the AHL is damn impressive (espeically considering the supporting cast he had). Not to mention his monster freshman year in college two years ago.

To add to this, he also scored half of his points = ~22pts - in the last 15 games of the season after getting accustomed to the pro level. He was also called up a couple of times last year, which means the organization thinks highly of him as well.

He should definitely be added, along with the goalies (Simpson and Salak)

How much of that was him being carried by Taffe on the first line? Let's face it, Taffe is probably a career AHLer, but he's a darn good one at that. I'm interested to see how Pirri does this season without Taffe.

Saad was considered a top 10 pick to start the year, so I don't think it has much to do with him being a new prospect and other prospects being older.

Pirri's been impressive, which is why I voted for him here, but any number could go in any order from here on out.

I voted for Saad because I think he has the most potential to become an impact player

I agree...Saad does have a large upside. I voted for Lalonde because I think he is further along than Saad in the developing process.

Again my question,

why no love for Danault? He is basically the same prospect Ben Smith is/was.

Most players drop for a reason. Obviosuly there are cases like Getzlaf where he proved people wrong but they are generally the exceptions not the rule. Pirri has done nothing but improve his stock since being drafted whereas Saad went backwards last year.

Because he needs to load up on 2 years worth the protein shakes.

Several years of development and winning a National Championship while performing well at the NHL level tend to elevate you.

I'm actually big on Salak especially, but Froese as well, but noone's mentioned them so haven't included them in the polls yet...
