Walter trying to lobotomize himself was one of the more disturbing things I've seen on this show.
It's been a bit of a slow start to the season, but John Noble continues to shine. And it looks like the Peter storyline will really pick up next week (based on the preview).

Yeah. I kind of wish they didn't go to THAT extent to show how disturbed Walter is without Peter. It was a little much.
Although nothing tops young Peter trying to drown himself in Reiden Lake.

You'd have to think if Fringe is at least winning its time period, they're happy, right?
Unfortunately it's the 18-49 rating that matters most, and both CSI:NY (1.6) and Dateline (1.3 tied, but had 2 million more viewers) had better ratings.
Still, better than last week's 1.2.

Wasn't really digging the Peter direction they were going a first, but I'm pretty in to it now. The writing is winning.

Oh hai, Peter.
Welcome back.
I ****ing KNEW that if Peter returned, this episode would end with the words "Who are you?", whether it was Walter or Olivia. So big negative points for predictability. But that was an otherwise decent to good episode made excellent by Peter's return (into the lake, fittingly).
Very Terminator-like.

Oh yeah, to continue the whole Terminator thing....the guy's name was Cameron James.
.....as in James Cameron
Yeah, that's not unintentional.

Just in case you couldn't put two and two together, after an already two-week break, Game 7 is pre-empting Fringe tonight, pushed back to next week. So don't bother to DVR
Thanks, David Freese.

I laughed at "BASEBALL HAPPENED." I'm impatient, I don't want to wait another week. I was a huge Rangers fan last night and they let me down, man!

Bad news: the fall finale (episode 8) was pushed back to the spring because of the one extra week hiatus
So only two more eps left until January.
It was (I guess still is) a massive cliffhanger with a surprise return....
SERIOUS SPOILER

So only one more episode left until the break?
Btw, are they going to completely ignore the jump in to the future bit seen at last season's finale?

Not only just one more episode, but a series low in ratings.
God, I hope they don't change their mind and pull the plug....

After tonight, no new episode until January 13th.
That won't help when it comes to ratings..
I think we should all just accept that this will be the final season.

Good news is the ratings were steady, meaning they didn't go down. Bad news is it was still a series low...

Which is why I'm not upset. I've already accepted it.
I'm more upset they couldn't ****ing show the 8th episode before the break. So stupid after a terrible episode this week.

Oh ok, makes more sense now. I was watching yesterday and thought, THIS is the fall finale??? Just nothing Earth shattering offered up at all. No idea what they're playing on Friday nights now that hey HAD to be so inflexible with Fringe.
Still, I've been loving this season too. I agree with everyone in that there is no use getting worked up about ratings at this point. Might as well enjoy the ride, since I hope they go out with a bang! Just some great characters that I love watching.
