Pretty solid satire of the Emmys and the shows that win. Cheesy pop music, one black guy, will-they-won't-they trope. I loved Dennis' line about the cute waitress that "didn't *need* to be funny but if she can tell a joke, its a bonus". Also loved the subtle joke about The Wire not winning Emmys either.
It's strange to have one black friend and not be constantly talking about it.

I don't know if it was just me but when Country Mac got mad and joined the karate fight and started a riot, I lost it. I had to pause the video because I was laughing so hard...I know it probably wasn't that funny but that was probably the biggest laugh I've had all season.
I the Simpsons-esque ability of this sitcom to not notably advance at all in terms of storyline after so many seasons and have everything return to normal even if it means that they'll kill off a character that's just there for one episode. I can't think of any other live action sitcom that has that quality right now.
I know there were things in the past, the waitress getting married, Frank coming in, etc but the group dynamic always just stays the same but they use running gags and jokes and references from old episodes.
I found it hilarious how three of them involved Dee dying including Charlie's which was supposed to be the sweet one. Also how Charlie's not as mean spirited as the others but completely crazy (kid store, bra stuff, waitress stuff, rat army).
