Giroux has a "Shift" as well, from Game 7 in Boston. After this, I stopped believing the Flyers could upset Boston and began KNOWING they would win.

That whole playoff run was probably my favorite sports moment ever.

Both of the "shifts" were epic

The way the team responded in the NJ series when Lappy went down was just incredible as well. Players were doing everything they could to block shots.

1)Dave Poulin's 5 on 3 shorthanded goal vs. the Nordiques in the playoffs of 85'.

2) Game 7 vs. Boston in 10'. Unbelievable. My head almost hit the ceiling when Gagne scored to make it 4-3.

3) Game 6 in the finals vs. Edmonton. Flyers come back from the dead for the 3rd time in the series. Propp blows one over Fuhr and then Daigneault from the point makes it 3-2. They say the Spectrum was never louder. Then Hexy's failed clear in the final seconds and Gene Hart's frantic call "Oh not out!"

For me the 2010 Boston series takes the cake.

Some awesome things that I was in attendance for were:

1. Jamie Moyer's complete game shutout at age 47.

2. This pretty dirty goal by Carlos Ruiz...

That goal gets me pumped for the Real Madrid game tomorrow.

I have so many, I know I'll miss a few.

Recent:
- Game 7 vs the Bruins. I still get goosebumps when I see Gagne's goal.
- The Shift.
- Olympic Gold medal games in 2010 and 2002
- OHL championships in 2003 (particularly game 7 in the conference final - best hockey game I've ever seen) and 2008
- Memorial Cup in 2003

Going way back:

- Clarke's goal
- Team Canada '72

And this:

The reason I love this moment so much is that I knew Loops had this one for that moment before he put it in. It was beautiful.

Very cool. I've been shopping around for things to add a little character to the room at college.
