And agreed Rockstar, Bethesda and to a point Bioware do it right. You're actually getting what you pay for.

I mean the DLC of GTA IV is better than the actual game itself.

EA with their online passes and stick boosts and random maps for 9.99 can go to hell.

oh man, I was talking about Gauntlet Legends with my friends yesterday. I had three friends over and the four of us were playing Castle Crashers, and started talking about how I wish I still had my N64 with Gauntlet Legends. I spent so much time playing that game, and could never find that one rune stone I needed!

The online pass is free when you buy the game. If you buy it used, then it's $10... it's more of a way to discourage people from buying a month old used copy of the game for $55 when the new one is $60. If someone's buying it used, EA gets absolutely no money out of it.

The stick boosts are all things you can unlock in the game anyway... if you want to 'cheat' and buy them sooner, which admittedly I have done since I was a late joiner to my last team in EASHL, then go for it.

Another thing to consider - for games where it's 1200 points for maps etc.

Wouldn't you rather spend that on a full game like Limbo or Super Meat Boy?

I know I would.

The only DLC's are all of the Fallout 3 DLC's, I thought it was worth it, and all of the Halo 3 Map Packs.

As always, don't hate the company.... hate the market.
