Marcel Hossa

He's a UFA now, two-way forward, really improved in KHL, led the league in goals a couple years ago. Bringing him in might really spark Marian to a great year, especially after trading Kopecky and doing absolutely nothing to help him out in terms of linemates. The chemistry would obviously be there. I trade Stalberg or Scott in a second to create a roster spot for him. Maybe he'd sign a cheap 1 year to play with his brother and go for the Cup.

He pretty much is a bigger version of Kopecky. If we weren't so stacked at forward I'd be all for giving him a look.

Couldn't hurt to have another able body in camp.

Stalberg doesn't belong in that stacked lineup with this guy available. Launch Stalberg for a draft pick and bring in Marcel and the team is improved. That's what it's all about, getting better. And Marcel has a much more refined game than Kopecky, much better with the puck, much better finisher.

Marian is a big boy, I am sure he can manage without having a BFF around. Hawks have too many players already.

If you like Stalberg better, that's fine. Even he wasn't related to Marian, IMO, Marcel Hossa > Viktor Stalberg.

Marcel Hossa doesn't fit here... He can get better opportunities in Europe than NHL...window of opportunity in NHL has expired.

Plus Marcel Hossa would be a 4th liner in the NHL longer season & less money. He may be better than Stalberg, but Stalberg is not 29 and may not have hit his ceiling.

The only thing Marcel Hossa proved is that he can be a good 2nd line or 1st line player in the KHL making 1-1.5 million... in the NHL he is a 4th liner making 750,000

We're already have a log-jam of a forward group. The only way I want another forward coming in is if he is a top-six caliber left winger or center.

I dont get peoples fascination with putting brothers on the same team... tired of schenn proposals, etc.

For me, it has more to do with the player Marcel is and the fact he is better than Stalberg. But you make a good point, both the Hawks and Bowman have acquired brothers in the past so you never know.

I'll pass on Marcel. He didn't prove to be that great in his time in the NHL, Stalberg is going onto his 2nd pro season and Vik put up more points last year than Marcel ever has in his NHL career.

Marcel Hossa is a pretty solid hockey player, much more complete than Stalberg.

I'd take Marcel if that was the decision but it's not.

Keith Seabrook <<<<<< Brent Seabrook

David Toews <<<<<<< Jonathan Toews

Who are we? Dale Tallon?!

I didn't realize Jared Staal was apart of the Canes system until last week. I think a lot of GM's are hoping to find the next "sedin twins"

Toews and Kane grew up in the Nhl together and have that chemistry.

They really do, complete with a little healthy sibling rivalry at times. There are occasions you swear the two of them could be brothers always competing and sometimes bickering at each other. But they really do play well together on the ice.

Sutter-Sutter-Sutter
Sutter-Sutter

Sutter

some might be playing out of position one has to play goalie but it could work and hey it would sound cool during the announcements lol

some

This would be sweet in Carolina

Brett Sutter-Brandon Sutter-Brody Sutter

They currently have Brandon on there team, Brett in the minors and just drafted Brody. What a line though. All have B.Sutter on there jersey

The sutter's are like gremlins, every time they get wet they multiply
