Broncos defense is absolute **** today and can't stop the Pats offense. To make matters worse, we did the one thing we couldn't do... turned the ball over.
Oh well. Great season for us. Nothing to be ashamed of.
IMO, one of the greatest games I have ever seen. Certainly the best 4th quarter I have ever seen. What a game!
Now...Go Giants!
Damn..... Home field for the NFC championship game would be awesome.....first playoff win for one of my teams since game 6 Oilers vs canes.....Hopefully this is the turnaround for all my teams.....oilers,9ers and jays on the rebound

I feel your pain brother - Oil, Niners and Jays here too. Gonna enjoy this one for at least a week.
Gonna be cheering the Giants pretty hard tomorrow.

Cue the Broncos and Tebow haters.
The problem? The Broncos' defense has too be PERFECT, because Teebosus is just so generally bad at football. When they play good teams, that bother to show up Pittsburgh, they get embarrassed. If you, as a Broncos fan, are lucky, Teebosus gets yanked, then Cut in the off-season, then you get a real QB in Manning or someone else who actually knows what they are doing.
this isnt even a game anymore. And you know Belichek is gonna run it up lol
Well they only scored 10 in the 2nd half, and when they were near the goal line they ran it 3 times when Brady could have tried to throw for the record.
I wish they had run it up haha. Its the playoffs and if your in a position when the score is about to get run up, you probably should not have been there to begin with.
Tonight was Brady and the Defenses most complete game since the 45-3 game against the Jets last season.
14 negative plays on D and 6 TD's.....enough said.
Also I'm really happy for Alex Smith. Had a really rough career until this year but those 2 last drives were legendary.
Smith helped the Niners become the first team in NFL history to score two lead-changing touchdowns in the final 3 minutes to win a playoff game, according to STATS LLC.
I'm a liberal atheist and I was rooting for him, just like I'll root for any underdog. I think he has potential and I'm willing to give him a season to improve. If he doesn't succeed, so be it.
A lot of people I know support organizations (like the catholic church or the conservative party) that go against many of the things I believe in. If I held that against them, I wouldn't have many friends.
Is he a safety? a Running back? No, he's a QB, that's what he does in football, ergo, terrible at football. If he wants to play some other position, maybe he won't fail as much.
he was horrible today, absolutely horrible. there was a point where tom brady had more TD passes than Tebow had completions.
Look, if you're the Broncos, you have to be realistic. Teebow is awful, simply awful, and this golden goose isn't going to keep laying eggs. If they bring him back and start 0 for the first month and a half, I think people will lose patience.
The Broncos are in perfect position to bring in a guy like Payton Manning, if he is moved, because they have some pieces, a solid defense, just need a real QB to challenge.
You know... I'm disappointed, but not as disappointed as I thought I'd be.
Coming into the season, nobody, absolutely nobody gave the Broncos a hope in hell of doing absolutely anything this year. We're a rebuilding franchise, our time is not now, it was never going to be now and it was unreasonable to think that we were going to get past a seasoned team that has long been the NFL's model of consistency with a roster full of players, coaches and other personnel that know exactly what it takes to win these types of games and get it done when they need to. Yes, I would have liked to see the Broncos keep it to with-in 7 or 10; what have you, but ignoring all of that, I think all of us, despite all the optimism after dispatching the Steelers, knew that it was going to take one hell of a performance to move onto the championship game. There is absolutely no shame in losing to who we lost to nor is there any shame in being one of the final eight teams still playing meaningful football at this time of year. None at all.
We have holes to fill and a lot of improvement to get to where we need to be but for the first time in a long time I feel optimistic about the direction the franchise is moving in. We have a lot of solid building blocks moving forward that are just going to get better as they gain more experience and learn what it takes to win consistently in this league. It's not a stretch to think that a healthy Miller and Doom could be the best pass rushing duo in the league for the next few years. They certainly played like it for stretches this season. Decker and DT look like stud receivers, I am a big fan of Harria and Carter and I am very interested to see the improvements a full off-season and a full training camp make in Tebow's game. I wasn't sure if he'd be coming back after the last three weeks of the season but his performance against Pittsburgh definitely earns him a solid look once again in my books. He has a lot of room for improvement, but what young QB doesn't?
The Broncos could have thrown this season away and drafted top 5, top 3 and continued expediting the rebuild but I think all of us were finally happy to see some playoff ball again. It felt good to see Mile High rocking in January again for god knows it's been far too long since we've been able to witness that. The playoff experience bodes well for our roster and the next time we get back into the post-season I can only hope that the boys remember the pain of this lesson and can use that as an added incentive so they don't have to experience it again.
Proud of this team, proud of the season they put together (all the ups and downs included) and proud of this franchise.
Yep, much better to look to guys like Michael Vick, Brett Favre, and...well any of the 40% of the NFL that has served prison time.
Out of the 68 drunk driving arrests, 14 strip club shootings, 27 domestic violence incidents, 38 drug busts, and 361 missed child support payments that the NFL off-season will surely provide us with, Tim Tebow will likely be involved in a grand total of zero of them. What a terrible example he sets! Where's Fred Smoot when you need him?

Who are these players? And the only pieces the Colts would want for Peyton Manning is Doom or Von, or somebody like Decker or DT. A first/second round pick added into a package maybe as well. The Broncos will not part with any of that for a one or two year window.
What I don't get is why everyone is hating on Tebow when the Pats put up 45 points. Even if Tebow had put 30+ points on the board they still would have lost the game. This loss falls squarely on the Bronco's d.

It isn't fair. But it's predictable.
The Tall Poppy Syndrome is rife here - as it is elsewhere - and Tebow essentially couldn't win (politically, not just on the field). Realistically, had the Broncos won, it'd have just ramped up the hatred for all the haters.
Far more likely was it that he would lose, and lose he (they) did. Huge. And now people want to fry him for most things under the sun, when he was only one part of a squad that failed epicly.
