This is the best case scenario. It's essentially signing a QO (500k salary last year + 10% on the QO).

Better than some ****ing arbitrator giving him 750k for playing more games than Taormina, Corrente, Fayne, Urbom, etc. who all have higher salaries.

He'll still be buried if the team thinks it can ice 7 other guys without him.

I can see why Fraser was captain in Kitchener. He's a smart kid and he does play hard and sacrifice his body for the team. He gets murdered around here for right and wrong reasons but I can totally see why DeBoer made him captain. I believe he was the first captain after Richards left.
